Honestly I'd like reinforcements even if we can't shift people but that seems unrealistic. The squad definitely needs an injection of new talent.

Not debatting here if he would be a good buy, but if Zirkzee is not coming, i would not be surprised if King is linked to us again if we shift Bernard and/or Tosun. Will be an interesting 5 days
Been daft since the last window mate, and it's on the recruitment team.
There's deals that can be done. And they really need to be done.
We're actively open to shipping out Tosun and Bernard or Gordon. That's fine, but we absolutely need a player in.
I still won't forgive them for not making a move in October mate. It was daft.

Bolasie - Boro - hasn't played so goodbye.
Tosun - CSKA/Besiktas - Started 1 game and no impact as sub.
Bernard - Al-Nasr - same as Tosun, big wages saved and a fee.
Gordon - Preston/Blackburn - very few apps and very little impact for a 19 year old. Loan and run of games will benefit him.
Kenny - Burnley - has Coleman, Holgate, Godfrey ahead of him and one of the easiest sellable players.
We will need to add some more attacking options but these players aren't impacting on squad so let's ship out.

Well, enlighten us all. What was he being asked to do? If it was anything other than making up the numbers then I have no idea.
He's been asked to sit and break up play. He's done that well enough. We know we need better but it's a long process. Hopefully Allan doesn't have to miss too many more games this season.
Noisy noise annoys

His game is to always be available, always be in space, keep the ball ticking over, break up play and try and link defence and our non existent attacking MF. He did all the former well as he usually does, but the gap between DM and AM was too big and was swamwed with leicester players.
He recycles the ball well and is ALWAYS an option for the defence who are asked to play out from the back. Just because he is not getting goals, assists and making 40 yard runs, people think he isnt doing anything, it is their lack of understanding NOT his lack of ability. He is NEVER going to be box to box, hence why he is not being asked to play that role.

Davies and Gomes is just a slow combination and we have seen it before add James in and we were dominated last night in there. Davies was fine at his job but we badly missed Doucoure for his energy, he was immense in the return fixture. Digne on the left wing made us look unbalanced in the second half for me too.
Got to give Leicester credit for how they pressed us. Without Doucoure or Allan there’s just no legs in there. Still think we need another CM at some point.
