I was told that it was 4.5 mil......I did say that it may have been euros.....that was a week ago.
As someone pointed out, that most likely includes a loan fee......so we're talking about close to 4mil GBP in all....
Pienaar -- 3mil
Vaughan -- 2.5mil
Yobo -- 4mil
Yakubu -- potentially 3mil.....
12.5mil (at the top end) brought in -- potentially alot more if Bilyaletdinov/Heitinga/Anichebe go.....

From the post before you, 3 of the players that have gone / likely to go to make the 12.5m havent been at the club this year so isnt really that much of a loss. We would then have 12.5 to replace Pienaar in effect. Yobo, Yak and Vaughan werenever going to play for us again so get rid. Shame that we couldnt get more for Yak and Yobo as we shelled out around 17m for those 2. Oh well, Yak is 35!

Bilyaletdinov is a bench player
Heitinga has become a bench player
So essentially selling all of them would mean we'd have to replace 2 wide midfielders and a centre back.
EDIT: Vaughan also gone for 2.5 mil on appearances of course....
12.5 mil for Yobo/Yakubu/Pienaar/Vaughan
14.5 mil potentially for Anichebe-2.5mil / Bilyaletdinov 6mil / Heitinga 6mil
27mil (at top end) and we need 1 centre back + 2 wide midfielders + 1 forward.....
Not bad at all if Moyes can do some dealings.....will be a bonus if Ba comes on a nominal fee....

But some of the players who are going/gone Are Vaughan, Yobo and Yakubu. Vaughan who only played 20 Mins all year, Yobo was on loan all year and Yak rarely started and was on loan for half the year. I cant seen Hietinga going any were, Same Bily, and Rodwell unless a good comes in.
Anything under 5mill for Yobo and we have been had. Would be massively dissapointed if he left for less then that and im being kind with 5mill.
Id have Yobo over Heitinga anyday.

Yobo is our 4th choice centre back and 30 years old....4mil is fine....
Heitinga is worth circa 6mil....hes a top player but just doesnt fit with Jags.
Moyes should sell the lot other than Jags and rebuild our defence....it was shocking last season.
