ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Mike Dean , although a Tranmere Rovers supporter, is also suspected of being a closit RS.I believe some of his family are. He should'nt be around any games at analfield.

I seem to recall reading somewhere his two lads are season ticket holders at castle greyskull

I actually think Mike Dean is one of the better refs out there but last night showed where his allegencies lie. Your right he shouldn't be allowed to ref their games.

Look who's front row singing his heart out.

Thought that a few weeks ago and they did a bottle job of trying to not pass the halfway line. If they are more attacking then you would think those 2 would have a field day.
They played like a low level junior side with two decent players, the whole game plan was to get Kane on it deep and for him to clip balls over the top for their quicker players, preferably the Korean saint. Everyone else just sat in and grafted. If Jose refines the approach and basically grows a pair they could have a field day against the mutant back four

Phase 2 in effect - Blame the board

Rock bottom???!!! They nearly won the league 2 seasons previous to when he rocked up.

They had one "bad" season where they finished 8th and that's rock bottom for them is it?

Not a single one of them could handle being a evertoian for a season. They'd give up on football altogether or just dive on the united bandwagon.

Sorry, I'm not having that 'what a shame Liverpool lost to United' business. Okay, so they would have had at least one more game. But I seem to remember lots of people here spouting exactly that in the CL a couple of years back, and then look what happened.

It's a competition. Get them out of it!

As much or more than most, they are a 'confidence team'. They gained as much from that invincible air last season as the shocking VAR decisions that went their way. All those late goals as they keep on playing to the final whistle, always having that belief that they'll score? That dissipates a bit with every loss. Heads start to drop. They stop believing.

And scoring a couple will give them confidence? Really? I'd rather take the spin that they'll be thinking that even if they score a couple they still can't win. They could well start thinking 'well, what can we do then?'

Obviously the injury to Rashford isn't good. But to be fair, he only limped off, and nobody knows the severity before he has a scan. Might be a game or two out and no more.

I just hate to see people on here gnashing their teeth and bewailing the fact that that shower of utter bells lost a game. We should rejoice in every single defeat, kick them when they are down, and glory in their humiliation. None of this lily-livered 'Sergeant Wilson' mentality. 'If you Manchester chaps wouldn't awfully mind just letting them win, that would be lovely'.

They don't like it up 'em. Keep driving it in. No lube.

You still have to know he's smiling, though. He always is. His teeth are too big.

Obviously a very wealthy man, those gleamers cost extra by the kilo.

That was Liverpool's victory right there.

That's the difference between a divvy like Solksjaer and Fergsuson. The latter would have played mostly kids against a Liverpool team going through the doldrums like this. Solksjaer fears for his job and goes all out to win an early stage cup game.

He made a big error there today, and now his team will pay for it.

Or, they keep Liverpools bad streak going before the league game.

Hard luck there @artetas_biggest_fan . Your all mighty rs team, the second greatest team we have apparently seen, after the Barcelona side of Messi Iniesta and Neymar, are not only making a pitiful attempt at defending their fluke league title, but they have now been dumped out of the FA Cup by United. Ha ha ha apparently last summer marked the start of a new era of red dominance.lol Only for United of all clubs to come back this season, and put them firmly back in their box.lol

Wonder if there's any truth to this

Did this originate from @catcherintherye

@catcherintherye your thoughts?

Their entire club ethos is built on confidence and momentum. If they win that game then their whole playing squad, manager, and fan base are swaggering into the Spurs game like they’re the best team in the world again, the media are lapping it all up once again, and the likes of Dier Sissoko Bergwijn and Ben Davies have already started having a few nightmares about the game. They get back on a roll and that is dangerous. Klopp then throws the next round in the cup anyway by putting the kids out.

So really the only slight ‘benefit’ they’ve gained is United have a few extra games. But all the confidence is now with United and Liverpool are again facing introspection and criticism as more doubt will seek into that squad. If it’s right v Spurs and there’s anything that makes them try and hold on for a draw than press for a win then that’s a good thing. It’s far better to completely undermine the self anointed ‘mentality monsters’ rather than letting them get back into that mindset.

Nah. They took confidence from that performance tonight and will be up for that Spurs game.

My hope is that Spurs floor them on Thursday and then they really are in some trouble.

The lack of self-awareness from this specimen is amazing. Apparently this season is a "freak season", and obviously last season was completely normal, nothing to see here. And also according to this genius this is the first-ever PL season where every team has displayed some inconsistency

They have a very tough run of games leading up to the derby...

I wonder what they'll say then...

Hopefully someone puts Salah out for 6 months so they implode + cant sell him in the summer window.
