Fenerbahce offer just 2m for Yobo

£2m would be a shocking deal for Everton.

Double that would be bad enough.

I'd want £6m at a minimum or get him back. He's been a massive player for them, see the run they went on without conceding? Something ridiculous like 15 hours and scoring the ultimate goal that sealed the league for them. They're taking the piss.

But he's worthless to our team in a transfer sense ie if he was worth 6mill, we wouldn't have loaned him out with a view to sell

We are skint, he's 4th choice cb, we need to lower the wage bill, he doesn't want to play for us and no other club will pay more than 5mill tops for someone like that.

Wouldn't say worthless mate - he was our player of the season a few years back - vital when we finished 4th.

He hasn't lost it - he's young for a centre half, he's an international captain and he's done the business in spectacular fashion on loan.

Heitinga could very well be off - and then he's up against Distin for a start.

I don't think it does in this situation. Get him back as cover. I'd rather he sat on the bench as cover for 3 years than sell him for the figure mentioned.

Gareth Barry/Gabriel Heinze him. Club first. Player second.

To be fair I'd rather him be on standby for us than starting for them for £2 million. That is a truly shocking offer.

Our clean sheet record season was Yobo and Jags. I think he's been hard done to personally.

Im with Danialson on this one. 6mill min, he son a 5 year contract. Captain of Nigeria distinguished PL player. There playing in the CL next season. I wouldnt even mind him coming back, im sure we could get 6mill out of the likes of QPR or Sunderland maybe even Arsenal.

2.5 mill for Vaughan puts it in perspective.

We can all agree to disagree here because, Yobo makes his mistakes but on his day he can be a real gem of a centre half. Jags as saids distribution is very very bad. Solid though. Heitinga isn't all that, very lazy at centre half...although the best ball distributor. Distin very prone to a mistake. All in all we haven't got a perfect centre half. I'd like to see Yobo come back

Worthless in terms of the overall squad. He's not a key player anymore and dropped spectacularly in the pecking order. Why did Moyes buy Distin and Heitinga if he felt Yobo was not part of his plans? Sure enough Heitinga is a utility player but is mainly a centre back/right back when we got him who, like Jags, can fill in a defensive midfield - a already cluttered area with Neville, Rodwell, and Fellaini. Now you have Mustafi and Duffy edging up...and Id be disappointed if Duffy doesnt feature next season.

And not even did Moyes allow him to fight for his place, he loaned him out. So it shows how much he's worth to Everton in Fenerbahce's eyes - between 2-4million I'd say and no more. There's plenty of 4th choice centre halves about who go for that price.

Its the same as rebuffing £2million offers for Yak...who cant get in the squad over Anichebe and was loaned out. Another one who is surplus and worth around £5million tops now matter how you slice it.

Im sure that Vaughan deal is 2.5mill staggered payments and add ons. You have to take into account Vaughan's age. Heitinga was £6million which puts that into perspective - World Cup finalist, won honours at Ajax etc, younger, can play more positions...is a better footballer.

Yobo can be a distinguished as he wants - the fact of the matter is that he's surplus to requirements here and he doesnt want to come back...and I'd be kicking off if I were Yobo if Everton pulled the plug on the move as Im playing at the elite level of european football next season.

Id rather sell Heitinga and keep Yobo if im honest.

Well that aint gonna happen.

Im a fan of Yobo and he WAS solid....but I dont think I could stand seeing the ball being tonked so far in the air that when it came down it had snow on it.

Sack them off, tell Joey he's coming back until we can get somebody to pay the correct valuation.

Typical snidey sh*thouse Turks. They've just won the league, sack them.

Indeed, they know 2 mill wont do it, and are pushing toward something like the 4 mill we signed him for originally. Let him play ACN whilst on their books ffs.

I reckon that is the opening bid...I reckon eventually a figure of around 4mil will be agreed.

But hey what do I know
