I have to say, the fact that I genuinely don't remember Vardy having a touch of the football all night is testament to Keane and Mina. Haven't seen a striker so quiet against us in years. Excellent tactics by Carlo; stop Vardy and they aren't scoring, and take our own chances. Brilliant effort all round.

Fantastic performance and no chances created from two top 4 teams.

We need to stay with this formation. Love that 4 CBs have basically made it really difficult for any team to create anything. The LB/RB don't have to come charging out to the wing and can defend at the near post. The CBs stay to their man. Iwobi and Richarlison have incredible work rate and get up and down the pitch.

Stay with the same team against Arsenal - Gomes in for Allan. James can start from the bench.

Also Allan looks bad - i had the audio off, so I couldnt hear the commentary, but that looks like a 3 month one like Harry Kane - couldnt even walk off the pitch and he was 10m from the touchline. Glad he did get on his feet though. I would be surprised if it was just one month out.

Great performance last night, with Doucoure outstanding with his best performance of the season. I've also been impressed with Gylfi on his last couple of performances.

First thought was penalty, then on the replays was obvious Gomes got the ball and was an excellent tackle... Leicester player should have been booked for simulating.

Evertonian since I was a little boy and I still think it was a penalty. Ball didn't move even a tiny bit on Gomes 'touch', only angle that made it look like he got a toe on it was the one they showed on the VAR monitor. Very clumsy from Gomes either way and certainly wasn't obvious he got the ball. The whole idea of VAR is to overturn clear and obvious errors by the referee of which that wasn't.

We got lucky IMO, if it showed the other angles I think it might have stayed a penalty.

Our away form this season is improving anyway

Undoubtedly. Four of those wins last season were under Ancelotti as well. I’d wager he’s probably on 8 wins from 32 league games since he joined. Granted that the loss of fans may have affected this (although no one was offering by that as a factor when we lost at home to United and Leeds), it shows he’s already up there with Moyes and Martinez’s best ever seasons. He’s just a top manager who goes into every game trying to find a way to win.
