I get that they are 1 game away from a suspension but was just saying that any suspension would only apply to the premier league and they wouldn't miss the quarter final of the league cup if that was the game after they picked up the 5th yellow in the premier league.
Yep.If the official page is right and cant see why it would be wrong the 19 games cut off point for 5 yellows would take us to Jan 12th [wolves 19th league game] and not the usual date of Boxing day/close by, whatever way its Everton and we are going to have to be so lucky to not have either of them banned for 1 game soon lol gives all the info on that link i give what happens etc with bookings

Yep Allan/Doucouré 1 Yellow away from 1 game ban

Cut off point [Inclusive] for Bans from the official page

5 Yellows, 19 Premier League Matches = 1 match
10 Yellows , 32 Premier League Matches = 2 matches
15 Yellows, Last day of the same playing season = 3 Matches
20 Yellows, As determined by a regulatory Commission
It must be different for red cards so.
Good news

Same team for me, replacing Sigurdsson with James if fit - James playing central with options either side would be great...

This would be a huge win

Strengthen our pursuit of Europe.

I believe we can do it.

I agree. People saying save players for the game against Arsenal but surely its better to be beating teams who are rivals for a European place?
I know there isn't really such a thing but a "6 pointer."

We're going to start Gylfi Sigurdsson over James Rodriguez because of pressing ability.

Our fans really are amazing.
A, I did not say who should start in front of him

B, James is incredibly talented but there are things he does not do which are quite important as the game is played today. If we can put out a team that does not rely upon him to contribute in the pressing/defensive aspect of the game then great. At the moment our first choice fullbacks are not available so our back line is more static than usual and will lend less support higher up the pitch. Yep, I am prone to go for the safer option until we see how a game is going.

Problem is at this point doing that is probably just tossing away any chance to win the game. I know he needs a break at some point but it might be better against a less good team.
Against lesser teams?? Have you not seen our results against lesser teams, we definitely need Dom against teams that sit back.

The safer option is...?

I just want to be sure I'm fully understanding what you're saying before I react negatively.
