Problem is at this point doing that is probably just tossing away any chance to win the game. I know he needs a break at some point but it might be better against a less good team.
You mean Sheffield United? Possibly but we have Arsenal then United coming up, with DCL against those 2 I can %100 see 3 points and cup progress.
Personally I would go Leicester being super defensive and happily go for a 0 0 draw, nothing wrong with that, then look to beat Arsenal with a fresh side.

I don't think Chelsea was evidence that we can get away with playing defensive. Pickford is still a liability.

The significant improvements to the FF cafeteria menu (more vegan options) have rekindled my optimism and i think we can get some points this next game. Leicester will be very buoyant after recent results (post their RS tummy-tickling) and will feel very confident. But without bellies sloshing full of bacon, sausages, hash browns and runny eggs, I think our lads can get something out of this game. Fingers crossed anyway

Agree on DCL on the bench
Not for me. He is riding the crest of a wave right now and needs to play. If vardy can play every week for about 5 years and is now 34 then DCL will be fine. Too much emphasis for me on players needs resting. That lot last year played so many games with many of their top players playing most minutes.

Same eleven to start with the exception of Richarlison, who should be on the bench. Put Gordon or Bernard in there for the first 45 or so. Leave out James completely and ease him back during the Arsenal game. COYB, and all the rest of it.

James instead of Gylfi if he is fit
This is the only tactic and thankfully it has been forced on us. The deep line nullifies his pace with little room in behind us, and we have a couple of speedy guys in defence ourselves anyway if we are caught out. But we really need Doucouré to step up here, because it's the balls from midfield that can kill us. Allan has been better but Doucouré is a concern and he will give them too much time to pick a pass. I think James will be saved for Saturday, so surely it'll be the same xi, providing we have no further injury concerns.
I would use James sparingly anyway. To get hold of a game you need to win the ball and press, he can do neither. He would always start on the bench for me and then see how it goes.
