I have faith that 100% of transfer sales will be reinvested in the squad, and that we'll finish top half again next season, and the season after, and so on into eternity.

But if the board decide to pocket even half the money from player sales, we will barely scrape past a relegation battle.

gullible doesnt begin to describe this statement.

no, that any transfer money will be taken to pay debts, and whats left will have to do. its the new everton way.

Assuming we operare at a loss, transfer money can be used just to close to hole (i.e., eliminate the need to borrow more). Than, whatever is left over, pays for acquisitions/salary.

Or rather interest on debt which is four odd million, while we have a turnover of 80 mill. I would accuse the board of a lot of things bt not putting earned revenue into the club isnt one of them. None of our board take a dividend from the club, Bill as Chairman doesnt take a wage.

Yeah we dont have much spare cash, but thats different form saying there is something ropey going on.

theres no assuming, we are a VERY poorly run club/business.

The last time I checked the accounts, which was a while ago admittedly, a HELL of a lot went into 'Other Expenses'. No explanation given for what these could be. Its possible

Dk, Everton in the community, Academy etc, Womens Team. To be honest there are a million feaseable explantions, rather then hinting the board are trousering money, which whatever they are, is an unfair accusation. Certainly without proof. People are looseing the run of themselves.

I disagree.

as Chairman yes. Otherwise money is going out by other means.

i never said that, i said that we are run by lying incompetant ne'er do wells who have more interst in themselves than the club. i never said ropey, get it right.

Its incredibly likely that they aren't. All i'm saying is, the amount of cock ups and false promises given to us by this board the only thing going for us is we aren't in some dodgey foreigners hands. If our board did something right occasionally I would have no need to think it might be a possibility. If they continue to pump 90% of player sales back into the squad however then I'm happy.

Not defending the board or anything, but trying to offer a balance, we sit seventh, look at all the other brilliantly run clubs that everyone cast envious eyes over. Sunderland with Ellis Short, Aston Villa with Randy Learner, Newcastle with Mike Ashley, West Ham - Iceland/Sullivan Green, Brum - Yeung, Blackburn - Venky.

Now how many have wished we had wonderfull owners like these at one stage or another over the season.

I think we tend to get dramitc about the"horrors" that go on at Everton, when really other clubs are far more run in the ground.

Im not saying ours hasnt mafde massive gaffes, but still wouldnt fancy being run by any of the above.

the league position is down to moyes and the players.OVERACHIEVING again. despite the boards lack of financial help and broken promises

Indeed intresting logic by that rationale, Lerner, Venky, Ashley all sacked their coaches when they were in better positions then Everton this season. West Ham would have as well if anyone would have touched it. See where im goiing here.

Just saying like.
