You can write off the quality of our players at your peril. Bielsa's Leeds are very much greater than the sum of their parts. Koch has had a few nightmare moments but has equally had as many standout performances in his short time here. Every CB has shone under Bielsa so far and Koch will find that consistency in time. We wouldn't swap Phillips or Klich for Gomes and Allan and you guys probably vice versa. We have added real quality too, Rodrigo and Raphinha will absolutely cause every team issues.

Give Phillips or Klich the chance to swap shirts with an Everton player and they'd bite your hand off.

I don't think Gomes or Allan would feel quite as enthusiastic about going to Leeds (I am being kind here).

Look - We all understand you're excited about being back in the big league, but maybe don't give it the big one for a couple of seasons at least?

Doucoure is a better player than Phillips. If Phillips was as good as Doucoure, he'd had left Leeds before he turned 25.

Different profiles of player, mate. Philips is more like Allan, sits deep, tackles well, can distribute the ball well.

Basically I agree we have better quality across the pitch, I just like this particular player, think he'd be the perfect addition to Doucoure and Allan in our midfield 3. and was excited when one of the forums hit miss ITKs (probs @jinkyali ) said we were gonna sign him last Jan lol

Gbamin is a similar type of player so hoping he'll come back strong and be that missing piece in midfield for us

I don't so that mate. Fulham and Leeds are similar levels, given tat Leeds only scraped past them at home. For us being at home, it's a comfortable win, or should be. They're a poor team.

I am no so sure, I have supported Everton since the 80s, I have seen matches like this before when the expected result was a win and we failed miserably but lets see

The fact that they conceded 4 to palace should fill me with confidence but we could so easily concede at least 2 again so not gonna be confident for any game until we see some improvement in defence

Yeah, but the data is drawn from aggregating shot success across the Top 5 Leagues. So for every Harry Kane you have a Vincent Janssen.

The short answer is that better players will (in general) exceed their xG more, but that even they don't do that consistently and are just as likely to undershoot xG as to overshoot it. So a team undershooting their xG may have a problem with finishing chances at that point in time, but unless there's a player-specific problem you'd expect it to even our (as per the law of averages) over a season.

From that we can see that Spurs' good run is at the moment contingent on Son finishing every chance he gets, as Kane is only shooting at his xG. If Son hits a bad run then Spurs will immediately start dropping points as they don't have the creativity margin of chances created to afford to miss those.
What’s going on here you said the letters XG like 7 times
