Bale is done as a serious footballer and would be an awful influence on a club. For a player to be earning that much money and to be not remotely arsed would be toxic as hell. Spurs are welcome to him.

ya .. wondered the same... James just felt like a good fit.. Bale.. too many question marks.. a couple years older, is he as good as he was, what would his influence be on the dressing room..

there wouldn’t be a middle ground. Would either be a slam dunk to the CL or absolute failure..feels like a risk too far. But if is also“free” would be more than interesting how it pans out..

Our midfield is set but with the fixture pile up would love us to go for Angelo Fulgini, he's a superstar in the making

Our first choice midfeilder pairing is set ... any injury to Allan or doucoure and we have davies , siggy , delph , Besic potentially getting game time in our Cm... that’s not acceptable in my book. Need another Cm but it’s way down on the list of priorities

He definitely feels like a more expensive version of Walcott to me. He’d be coming for the golf courses and costing three times the wages.

After all the feel good factor from the new guys arriving, how far would signing him set us back?
I'm sure there was a clause in the Rooney deal all those years ago that we had to sign all of United's crap whenever they wanted to get rid.
