James.. man is he awful, The way he make professional footballers look like u12s. The way he gets a ball and pings it 45 yards to perfection is just horrifying. Doesn’t he know he plays for Everton and his job is to make Every team we play look like Barca and 45 yard pings are meant to land in row Z

You know why I will gladly admit that Pickford had a really good game? How many times did he come out and clobber a player punching a ball away or even claiming the ball outright? He hasn't done that in....I genuinely don't recall if he ever did.

I thought we played really well, especially considering some of these players only got here in the last week or two. With more time, we should improve, and that was already much better than the majority of last season. Actually enjoyed watching some of our play and didn’t feel anywhere near as nervous as usual. Well done all of them.

Watched the game again . One of the things most satisfying is that every player out there knew the job they needed to do and looked comfortable. Not very Everton of recent times but there is a solidity there I havent seen in a while
