I don't believe that our failure to sign Gabriel thus far is due to Napoli's chairman threatening to keep hold of Allan.

I'm not . If money is no issue then we would have signed these players. We are haggling because there is major restrictions on what we can spend.
But you are talking out of both sides of your mouth mate. We have unlimited spending but yet we wont spend it.
In all fairness if I was looking for an argument id have it with someone who can at least offer a decent one . Not one living in cloud cuckoo land

If it came down to the two, I would much prefer Gabriel to Allan, but Allan is much more a position of need than Gabriel. Napoli surely won’t keep Allan around though if he isn’t in there plans?
