GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread


My amateur take on things (baring in mind I've only watched the odd recent PPV!):

Kane, Big Show, Santino Marella and Kofi Kingston vs. The Corre

I don't know much about Marella, but a quick Google search of Kingston reminded me of who he was. Kane and Big Show have been around for beards, of course.

This seems like a filler match, and I assume it'll be used to put over The Corre, who again from a Google search seem to be a badly pushed stable. Overall, this is just a way of having Big Show and Kane on the card.

Winner: The Corre.

Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan

I really liked the skill of Bryan when I've seen him recently (the last two PPV's). Sheamus is an odd looking bloke ain't he!

I'm assuming the WWE really like this Bryan and I'm assuming that because Sheamus has taken a world title and a King of the Ring in recent times, a Wrestlemania win push will go to Bryan.

Winner: Daniel Bryan

Snooki, Stratus, Morrison vs. LayCool, Ziggler

Morrison is just awesome. That's the guy that jumped onto the barricades and leapt back into the Rumble if it's the same guy I think it is.

If so, would like to see him win, despite Snooki - the US equivalent of Jordan - "wrestling". Celebs nearly always win if they're portrayed as a face at Wrestlemania, so this will probs go the same way.

Winner: Snooki and co.

Mysterio vs. Rhodes

Mysterio is around six years past his sell by date. That said, this match is clearly a vehicle for him to appear at Wrestlemania since he's dropped back to mid-card since his main event status a year or so ago. Mysterio to win comfortably.

Winner: Mysterio

Randy Orton vs. CM Punk

This should be a title match, whilst Edge/Del Rio should be mid-card. That said, a very difficult one to call, and I would have been helped by actually watching the build up. I think if we all assume Cena wins the main event, then I think Orton losing will be the "shock" to balance it out.

Winner: CM Punk

Lawler vs. Cole

No brainer.

Winner: Lawler

Triple H vs. Undertaker

I just can't see the Undertaker losing his streak on such a random number, if ever.

Winner: Undertaker

The Miz vs. John Cena

Because of the sheer amount of kids watching, Cena is an absolute guarantee to win, in what will probably be the worst match of the night - including Snooki.

Winner: John Cena

Edge vs. Alberto Del Rio

Cena is certain to win the first main match. This one is harder to call. I can't see the value in giving Edge the WM push factor given his status in the WWE, whilst a Del Rio win will shock everyone. I think WWE will go with the shock, and result in all three titles on offer changing hands.

Winner: Del Rio

Think Orton will do Punk. And hope to god Cena doesn't win.
 


Ive predicted the winner at the start of every one and have got them all right so far, you can predict the winner from the promos
