Amazing addition if it comes off. Lifts quality of the side massively. Another midfield addition as well and were in business. Hopefully Davies is on bench at best.

They are not in the same historical standard of Brazilian football for sure. But Casemiro is always in the best XI of La Liga and won lot of titles. Fabinho is starter of the EPL champion. Arthur has a lot of potential and Bruno Guimaraes who is in europe just for few months, already had some MOTM performances for Lyon in the french league and Champions League. Casemiro-Arthur-Bruno Guimaraes can probably forma very strong midfield compared with the current level of world football. Its not Zico-Socrates-Cerezo though.

Guimaraes looks class.

What do you make of Matheus Henrique?

According to my mate who's Napoli through and through:

When he's in form, he's a golden boy. The pitbull. Great work rate, aggression and willingness to play forward, but since his transfer to PSG didn't work out his form dropped off massively and he's behind Elmas in the pecking order. He's looking lost and confused and his days in Napoli are surely over.

Ancelotti loves him and due to him being 29 there is a small chance of competition from top sides.

Suarez was amazing in Holland. I told the RS guys i know at the time how good he would be.

Every signing is a gamble though.

I think thats somewhat unlikely.

Of course they are, but you got people like Redknapp when he was at Spurs saying they took a look at weren't 100% sold. Think other of the top 4 clubs at the time did the same, especially Dutch strikers.

Didn't they get Gana instead?

went to look for the first time at his stats.. hardly had a game since post covid.. 5 mins here and there.. some more in other games.. definitely not a first choice for them... still..just not sure the few mooted it worth it.. but they rarely are right on the money

Its proof that a player doesnt suddenly turn crap because they are over 25.

If you listen to some on here we would be fielding a starting 11 still not old enough to shave.
Well KdB is actually world class so it doesn't really hold up when you have more talent in big toe than 90% of the Premier league.
Allan age is not that big of a deterrent but it should be considered, 37/40m is a lot of money when we don't know our budget given the impact of Covid 19 and multiple positions need addressing then you have would he fit the league at his age since it's a very fast paced league which is the opposite of Serie A.

But surely if the budget isn't there mate the club wouldn't be spending that money?

From what im seeing on social media is that our fans have become accountants who seem to know the ins and outs of the clubs finances/budget - I say let them do what is needed to be done to give Carlo the tools for the job.

For me age/money shouldn't matter - the only concern I have is the transition from the slower Serie A to the fast pace of the Prem - look at Kean who looks like a punch drunk bum compared to the rising star he was at Juventus.

But as I said earlier for me every signing outside of a select few are a risk - look at Arsenal spending over £70 million on Pepe, Spurs spending £65 million on Ndombele etc who were both highly rated and of the "right age".

No it's clear we have a money to spend (I assume from comments made by Ancelotti) but I'm not sure how much and when RW is just as a big priority 40m is a lot compared to the 14-25m for Hojbjerg, Will just have to wait and see.

Doubt it will be anywhere near £40 million mate - it'll drag out until Napoli need to sell and we'll likely get him for about £25-30 million imo.
