I think this is where we lack a captain that’s in the refs face. Richy was stamped on, elbowed and kicked and ended up getting booked!
The first foul on him the captain should front up the ref straight away complaining, it’s the only way to protect him. We lack that in this squad currently

I wouldn’t mind making Richy captain now actually just that it might mess up his game and he’s a bit angry sometimes ? he’d be good at it!

Yes, he did.. He puts the graft in too for a young striker....interesting comparison with Pogba and Fabinho.

Thought so, the first sentence is written as though this was his first season with us though.

Love him, great potential but I don't think he has the right amount of composure to be the captain yet. He'd be getting yellows / reds for dissent all day.
I agree though.....he needs some protecting / club needs a stronger leadership group on the pitch.

His English is still terrible so he'd be a long way down the list of captains for me
