....it’s a terrific interview (I think it’s on the ex-players thread). Comes over as a terrific bloke and you can see the camaraderie in that mid-80s squad.

Ironically feels no malice towards Marwood, says they’re actually close friends and speak regularly.
I've got it on my watch later list. Comes across as a lovely feller on Howard's Way too. They all do to be fair.

I enjoyed seeing Reidy clatter him a bit later
Yes, the whole of Goodison was waiting, including the ref and Marwood himself, for the retribution to arrive.
Reidy didn't do a Roy Keane by standing over the snot and goad him, he just walked away from the scene altogether.
For some reason, Heath wasn't really appreciated by many, me included. Probably because he just got on with his job.
Always loved for that Highbury moment of course.

He was absolutely outstanding around the time of that injury, who knows what he would have achieved?

Haha yeah he seems like a nice bloke. I think he had some problems in his life didn't he? I'm gonna order his autobiography.
Absolute loon when he played for us, he lived by me in Ainsdale, used to see him walking around the village with his two dobermans on ropes lol Saw him in the West End bar in Southport maybe a week or so after he signed for us, being a naive eighteen year old blue I'm at the bar ordering the round in,PVDH is there on his Jacksie with a pint in front of him,I go,"Alright Pat,welcome to Everton"or something along those lines.............nothing!!So I try again,"What team do you support Pat?" he looked at me menacingly takes a swig of lager and says,"Effing Millwall, now eff off"lollollol,I sloped back to my mates tail between my legslol

Maybe not such a nice bloke then lol

Best question of all time on Question Time by Derek Hatton. The panel had to say if they could ask one question of one person, any person, what would it be?
Hatton’s was “What has Adrian Heath got to do to get into the England squad?”!!!!
EXCELLENT player, really skilful, hard-working with intelligent movement and great touch. Nice guy with fans too.
He achieved a great deal, got some medals and was revered by Blues of that era. Could have been worse but his play deserved more.

Adrian Heath scores Everton’s opening goal against Leicester City FC in this League Division One match played at Goodison Park on the 28th December 1986.
