The hope would be that we may have a properly functioning midfield , this would reduce somewhat the defensive duties of our attacking players.Not in a 4 I don't think. Walcott isn't exactly a great defender but he puts a shift in to be fair, and gets up and down. From what i've seen of Kean he'd struggle both with the physical demands and the need to stay alert in that position. I agree that wide in a different formation could work, although everyone moaned when Silva tried that for 45 minutes in a league cup game.
