If they carry the league on,and they end it whatever way they are thinking/trying, then if a 2nd wave comes back early next year like they think there maybe is-probably saying there is 2nd wave to be safe i think, then whatever is decided for the league now has to be the same if a next time happens, as if Legues finished now for those lot to get what the press and co say they deserve, you cant say for example have man city top next year and same thing happens but leagues cancelled
Are you ok mate ?
You've confused the life out of me here ?

Are you ok mate ?
what ? normal thing to say, has to be same all time what ever is decided

if league carried on for liverpool to win it now, like they seem to say, they cant cancel next year if say man city are top if a 2nd wave happened

It's not safe for everyone though. Its still putting a decent sized amount of people together in one place who were not there originally. Match day squads, coaching teams, stadium officials, match officials, TV staff, Coach drivers etc. And what about the locals who live around the "neutral" grounds?

I find it mad that it is even being discussed. Shut it down, everything restarts from the beginning when it next can. If the RS simply MUST have a token trophy then give them one to shut them up as it will mean nothing.

Worst part of all this to me is the Premier League teams will survive this. It may stop their spending power for a bit but they will be OK. The lower league teams could quite easily go to the wall but its all about finishing the premier league season, the one division that will be OK.

100%. I was talking about people not wanting the season to end via PPG

You've answered you're own question at the very beginning - that's exactly it!

Knocking these last games on the head and going PPG - ok, have you never heard of a team who have been in trouble all season, then going on a run, winning matches they wouldn't have at the start of the season, and then getting themselves safe, near to or even on the final day of the season?

That's never ever happened has it?

If it hasnt, Ok then, jib the remaining games, they don't matter, sorry, my mistake, PPG MAKES PERFECT SENSE.

And we are not talking "a couple of games" - there's 27 points still to play for, minimum.

Stick this PPG [Poor language removed] in the bin, along with behind closed doors and the rest of the crap the premier league are spouting about the restart, where it belongs.

But that's where the compromise comes in. You're ruling it out as its IFs, BUTs, and maybes based on what COULD happen. City could still win the title, Norwich could win the FA cup. Forget about what could happen and look at what has happened and make a decision on that.

You either abolish a league that's almost 80% complete or figure a way that finishes it with some structure.

Before they even played an actual match. Its a nonsense.
Seen what the former Chelsea lad kalou did? If we can't get these overpaid idiots to take it seriously then why should we be entertaining the thought of them playing?

Null and void is so far away from simple its unreal.

The simplest thing is to finish the season.

Is to me but I am...

How? Please show your workings, cos a few hours ago some loon was banging on about the entire league being flown to Melborne in Oz to get it done.

Ok.

Null and void
Legal fights in the courts with all the teams who would have got promoted, a minor drop in the money ocean, but a headache all the same
No TV money
No sponsorship money
Players all still on full pay
Liquidation

Finish the season
Everybody makes it rain money
No simple solution is out there. Finishing is absolutely not simple. It's a lot harder and more dangerous than ending it now.

Nobody cares about danger Tim, money, money, money.

The problem is that the null and voiders are being sensible, they are picking the right option, the 1 that doesnt put 000s of lives at risk and 1 that also protects the integrity of the Premier League, not that anybody REALLY cares about that.

So I do agree with the null and voiders, but they are massively underestimating the impact this will have on the 92 clubs in the football pyramid, it will be an utter wasteland. Which for me is why money, not sense will win this battle.
