Project restart discussion.

Again not all teams will have played against all the top teams and some will have played more away games than others so it isn’t an equal way to end it.

There's not going to be an equal way to end it as some teams will lose out regardless. As mentioned before, if we get into specifics of who's played who after 80% of games have been played then Newcastle and Norwich are still in the FA Cup...why can't they get a chance to get into Europe via that? It's a never ending cycle.

People are forgetting that there's the lower leagues to consider that are going to do whatever the premiership does. A lot of those teams live off gates they're not going to get, how are "neutral" venues going to take place across the country etc etc It has a bigger wider impact.

You ok there Ollie Holt?

PPG isn't a fair solution - it another rigged deck, as bad a suggestion as fezzy of football, neutral venues, no fans in the ground etc.

Fair because out of 28 games you only played the RS once yet Villa did twice and got battered...etc etc.

Not for me. If the saying is that you get relegated or win a title over a season and not a couple of games, then surely these last couple of games can get knocked on the head.

End of the day there's only two solutions...play the games or not play them. If they all agree to play them...then a game a month behind closed doors should be safe for everyone

It's not safe for everyone though. Its still putting a decent sized amount of people together in one place who were not there originally. Match day squads, coaching teams, stadium officials, match officials, TV staff, Coach drivers etc. And what about the locals who live around the "neutral" grounds?

I find it mad that it is even being discussed. Shut it down, everything restarts from the beginning when it next can. If the RS simply MUST have a token trophy then give them one to shut them up as it will mean nothing.

Worst part of all this to me is the Premier League teams will survive this. It may stop their spending power for a bit but they will be OK. The lower league teams could quite easily go to the wall but its all about finishing the premier league season, the one division that will be OK.

Like I said, null and void. It’s quite simple.

You've answered you're own question at the very beginning - that's exactly it!

Knocking these last games on the head and going PPG - ok, have you never heard of a team who have been in trouble all season, then going on a run, winning matches they wouldn't have at the start of the season, and then getting themselves safe, near to or even on the final day of the season?

That's never ever happened has it?

If it hasnt, Ok then, jib the remaining games, they don't matter, sorry, my mistake, PPG MAKES PERFECT SENSE.

And we are not talking "a couple of games" - there's 27 points still to play for, minimum.

Stick this PPG [Poor language removed] in the bin, along with behind closed doors and the rest of the crap the premier league are spouting about the restart, where it belongs.

It depends on how long it goes. If we are waiting for complete normalcy to restart, no the Premier League teams probably won't survive because that could easily be sometime midway through next year.

Just think, running away with the title for it only to get canceled so close to the finish line is such an "Everton" thing, you would expect us to have that level of luck.
On the scale this makes slippy and the record points for second, look mild

Yeah that's true enough, either way its not like it has to be resumed straight away.

Either way every top flight league is in the same boat so it should balance itself out eventually.

If they carry the league on,and they end it whatever way they are thinking/trying, then if a 2nd wave comes back early next year like they think there maybe is-probably saying there is 2nd wave to be safe i think, then whatever is decided for the league now has to be the same if a next time happens, as if Legues finished now for those lot to get what the press and co say they deserve, you cant say for example have man city top next year and same thing happens but leagues cancelled
