Again not all teams will have played against all the top teams and some will have played more away games than others so it isn’t an equal way to end it.

Some very astute observations, weirdly mostly about one of their own without even realising.
You ok there Ollie Holt?
PPG isn't a fair solution - it another rigged deck, as bad a suggestion as fezzy of football, neutral venues, no fans in the ground etc.
Fair because out of 28 games you only played the RS once yet Villa did twice and got battered...etc etc.
Not for me. If the saying is that you get relegated or win a title over a season and not a couple of games, then surely these last couple of games can get knocked on the head.
End of the day there's only two solutions...play the games or not play them. If they all agree to play them...then a game a month behind closed doors should be safe for everyone
it would be nice to think that our red buddies really do place value on innocent life over football but no such luck.
Like I said, null and void. It’s quite simple. There's not going to be an equal way to end it as some teams will lose out regardless. As mentioned before, if we get into specifics of who's played who after 80% of games have been played then Newcastle and Norwich are still in the FA Cup...why can't they get a chance to get into Europe via that? It's a never ending cycle.
People are forgetting that there's the lower leagues to consider that are going to do whatever the premiership does. A lot of those teams live off gates they're not going to get, how are "neutral" venues going to take place across the country etc etc It has a bigger wider impact.

It depends on how long it goes. If we are waiting for complete normalcy to restart, no the Premier League teams probably won't survive because that could easily be sometime midway through next year. It's not safe for everyone though. Its still putting a decent sized amount of people together in one place who were not there originally. Match day squads, coaching teams, stadium officials, match officials, TV staff, Coach drivers etc. And what about the locals who live around the "neutral" grounds?
I find it mad that it is even being discussed. Shut it down, everything restarts from the beginning when it next can. If the RS simply MUST have a token trophy then give them one to shut them up as it will mean nothing.
Worst part of all this to me is the Premier League teams will survive this. It may stop their spending power for a bit but they will be OK. The lower league teams could quite easily go to the wall but its all about finishing the premier league season, the one division that will be OK.
There isn't though.
Nobody is talking about how we need to finish the FA cup, all the talk is about the league and we all know why that is.
