To make sure that the RS get their trophy. Why on Earth would you force clubs to finish the season if there's no point to it?
Next question please.

Everyone that has got no reason to fight for points will just play their reserves. Why risk the first team players?I have just read on the BBC website that the teams at the bottom of the league have said that they will play if they are guaranteed not to be relegated.
This just keeps geting more and more bizarre as each day passes. Just what on earth would the point be in that? So apart from the
CL league placings every single game will in effect will be a dead rubber. Where is 'the integrity of the league' in that idea - teams simply playing each other for the sake of playing each other? If this goes ahead then football is well and truly done.
This isnt about necessity, it's about saving people getting ill or dying.
Either it's safe to do so or it isnt.
Kids should be the last thing we take a chance on. Which is why Ireland have announced no school until September.
Digging yourselves in a massive hole here boys. This argument is done
If the figures are low enough Boris is expected to say they can be back in school in a few weeks.
So what your saying is, we can risk the kids, but not footballers.
Are you suggesting that children being educated means more that the RS getting a tin pot?I'll jump in here. But schools will return before footballers do. Firstly you can socially distance with schools. Secondly schools returning is far more essential to the economy than a sport coming back. Finally we need children to be learning.
Kids need to learn, and a sportsman right to play sport are not equals.

I know one club that would say their participation trophy means more.If no relagation then award everyone a premier league title, everyone wins.

Premier League: More clubs open to using neutral venues if relegation removed
A growing number of Premier League clubs are open to playing the remaining fixtures at neutral venues but with the threat of relegation removed.www.bbc.co.uk
Hilarious. If so, then what is the actual point of bothering to play out the remaining quarter of the season?
Simply:
A) Money from broadcasters (pure greed), and
B) Forcing the season to some kind of conclusion just so Liverpool can “win” the league
Integrity would be right out of the window. Utter utter shambles if this goes ahead.
The BBC have been a joke over this. The BBC once again running with a story that helps their agenda to insure Liverpool win the league....spitting in the face of the NHS, and giving zero fks about the people currently dying, in the process .... Amazing attitude...
How desperate would they be to see the football completed if Man city or Leicester had been leading?....i think we'd be seeing a lot of "at times like this Football isn't important"...
Section 44 Employment Rights Act 1996. If you believe your workplace is unsafe is unsafe and you are in imminent danger then you can refuse to work. I'd be quoting that at any employer trying to force people back to work. Ash for risk assessments, do they need full staff in etc.Talking of players - have the clubs/FA considered what they think of risking their life/long term health ?
I'm sure there's plenty who won't be happy being treated like fodder so SKY, BT and the premier league can cut their losses.
Even myself I'm dreading the eventual call back after furlough knowing just - impossible to implement social distancing stands between me and a deadly virus.

What fixtures would they be?I am now 100% convinced that they will restart the league for long enough for Liverpool to 'secure' the title only to then backtrack and 'cancel' the season after two games and announce no relegation, places stay as they are, Liverpool officially champions.
