Doesent matter this is about coronavirus.
You can't talk about it not being safe for football and then send primary kids back to school and totally contradict yourself.

Schools arent back. Theres nothing to suggest they will be back imminently other than tabloid stories.

But they are a far higher priority than bringing back football.

Schools have a matter of weeks before they'd break up for Summer anyway so they deffo won't be sending kids back soon.

If the figures are low enough Boris is expected to say they can be back in school in a few weeks.

So what your saying is, we can risk the kids, but not footballers.

I'm not saying anything about risk. I'm happy to take as few risks as possible. But I am definitely not a doctor or a scientist.

If the risk to kids is low then maybe they can go back in a few weeks. But that's not the key issue. The key issue is necessity. Schools are a necessity in my opinion. Is football really a necessity? Absolutely not.

No worries, every RS will soon turn into an expert doctor and scientist and will come out with the usual in order to justify them getting their grubby hands on the trophy

I would give it to them now.

The glory for their fans is not them winning the title as such but more their weird little obsession with feeling like they were a part of it.

Either way it will never feel the same as what it would have done to them had the world remained the same. They will get a a title that means nothing to anybody.

Might be the case in Boris’ London but here the schools are staying shut until September at the earliest

Hilarious. If so, then what is the actual point of bothering to play out the remaining quarter of the season?

Simply:

A) Money from broadcasters (pure greed), and
B) Forcing the season to some kind of conclusion just so Liverpool can “win” the league

Integrity would be right out of the window. Utter utter shambles if this goes ahead.

Not having school age kids anymore, the school issue has been far from my thining.

But have they explored the viability of on line classes? Like I have heard of parents being given tools to home school, but a trained teacher, via lap tops/phones etc, "teaching" their classes in a virtual way is surely doable.

Kids would most likely enjoy it as well.

edit. Soz, just realised this is the restart footy thread.

School kids can be kept apart in the classroom . A few kids in each day decided by their surname initial. Maybe two at the round tables they have . One at each side , thus keeping the social distance . Footballers , on the other hand , will be making physical contact with each other . If you , and the rest of the rs nutters , take the thought of a certain trophy out of you head for five minutes you may be able to have rational thoughts .

This isnt about necessity, it's about saving people getting ill or dying.

Either it's safe to do so or it isnt.

Kids should be the last thing we take a chance on. Which is why Ireland have announced no school until September.

Digging yourselves in a massive hole here boys. This argument is done
