I don't give a toss about them winning the league. I give more of a toss about the clubs at the bottom. There are 16 teams still in with a mathematical chance of relegation, how on earth can you determine their fate?

I'm also worried about forcing players to play through the summer and then straight into another season. I'm worried about results being impacted by out of contract players leaving holes in squads and how on earth do you manage the transfer window?

You need to be careful mate, it’s on the verge of slipping here. You’re losing the plot.

I'll pop a few 'RS' in the next few posts, mate. Just to reassure any doubters and reiterate i'm still a sooper bloo.

None of this is important given everything that is going on.

Some reports suggesting a two-week break in the season, others a month.

Either way, if the peak isn't even close yet, then there will be no time to finish this season out this summer – regardless of whether or not a player has it or a club is on lockdown or the Euros is pushed back a year. It's just madness to risk it.

@Keiran has got it all sorted. Let him tell you how the governing bodies will re arrange three domestic seasons across Europe and the euros and World Cup all so his team can win their top dopers trophy.

You're absolutely right, you can't determine their fate. That's why the season won't be cancelled, it will be postponed. Norwich could yet stay up, it's not fair they are relegated based on the PPG that they've achieved thus far, therefore it won't happen. It would cost billions in lost revenue and inevitable lawsuits.

The players rest can be managed. There is a window of at least 2 months post season where most players will be doing nothing. They would have been off at Euro 2021 and various other Internationals. If those are delayed to next summer, as it's been reported that most fully expect it will be, then there isn't a huge problem in managing that side of things.

Murmurs of adopting the Bundesliga method and voiding all titles (if not already confirmed) and having relegation/promotion as play off later
Issue is, any one of 10 teams -arguably anyone not on 40 points- are in the frame to go down
