Spurs really are the great pretenders of English football. Hyped up to the max, but deliver very little silverware.

During my period as a football fan (83/84 onwards) we've lifted more trophies than they have. They've twice fought for the title in that time, 84/85 with us and 2015/16 with Leicester and ended up third on both occasions.

Just a couple of league titles in their entire history is extremely poor for a supposed giant of the English game but I've no doubt they'll continue to get hype and tons of media coverage.
Didnt do much before Nicholson, Didn't do too much after, cups seem to be their thing.
Theyre very luck they're a london team with a funny name.
If they weren't in london team they'd just just be another team with a funny name like Wednesday or North End

24 goals last season and he has 17 in 25 this year. Is this a massive dip?
I was just going off the league since it gets all weird with quality of opponents when you use the other competitions. He's got 11 this season on the back of 17 last year. But taking out penalties it is 9 and 13, respectively. This is on the back of 30 (28 non pens) and 28 (24 non pens). Add in that he's missed large stretches of time and I'd say yes he's been worse the last two years by a clear level.

And there was me thinking you chaps knew your history lol

Needs giving a ban until the end of the season for reacting the way he did, rightly or wrongly, and even if he did it because he thought his brother was in a scrap. You simply cannot do that. If he isn't banned then it opens the floodgates for footballers to start beating up fans for no real reason without fearing any repercussions.
Nah.

I encourage anyone who disagrees with this to look up the Malice at the Palace on YouTube and see why this sort of thing has to be made very clearly unacceptable.
