Spurs

Kane will be off to another club if he wants to win anything next season

I obviously have no idea of the reality, but I would not be surprised if the fees of £150m that were routinely touted 12/18 months ago might be a tad over the odds now.

He has developed a injury rap sheet that while not in the "sicknote" box, yet, will surely be a concern.

It’s one of those big ifs, but I wonder where Spurs would be now if they had won the CL final?

Feel they would be flying in the league (with Poch still in charge of course). They’d all be winners..Kane, Son and co. Poch’s project would have had the ultimate reward.

Conversely I think it would have ruined Klopp and the RS to come away with nothing after 97 points and back to back CL final defeats. That would have been the knock out blow. They weren’t coming back from that.

That one 90 minute game of football was transformative unlike any other I can remember, especially when you look at the direction of the two clubs involved since then.

Regards José, he’s just got old. Managers have a sell by date, and he’s reached his.

real sliding doors stuff.
Winning the league is still the biggest prize for me,but the prestige a club gets and the aura of winning the champions league can really change a clubs fortunes .

The RS lost the Champions League final the previous year and came back stronger. Arguably, that defeat spurred them on last season. Where as Spurs seem to have sulked. All about mentality.
