That's the problem he's not telling him the correct decision like today? Why use the monitor when he's got another ref sat off watching it on multiple angles telling him the correct decision
The problem is that the wording of the rules means very little because the PGMOL will wriggle around it with their subjective interpretation (ignoring of) the rules.it is written down though - preventing an opponent from playing or being able to play the ball by clearly obstructing the opponent’s line of vision
since he did none of those things, that should have been a goal
Can I ask why no pen was given if they felt goal was offside.
Couldn't have wiped out Sigurdsson any more.
Correct, if VAR was doing it’s job properly, it should’ve been brought back for a pen and a possible sending off too.
This seems to have been overlooked too.
Oh what's the point
the other mad decision today was why was Sidibe booked for coming on the pitch? he was off the pitch receiving treatment so didn't have to leave the field of play after treatment?
yeah but he didn't need waving on because he didn't need to leave the field of play?I think cos the ref hadn’t waved him on yet
Did he go to the monitor?
Nah. Wouldn’t want to do that and actually take the on the responsibility yourself of making an accurate decision!Did he go to the monitor?
Exactly this mate, when he wiped out Sigurdsson AFTER he shot I think it's fair enough to not give it. But Sigurdsson getting snapped is directly the reason for him to be where he was which stopped our goal in which case bring it back for the pen.Can I ask why no pen was given if they felt goal was offside.
Couldn't have wiped out Sigurdsson any more.
