Sir Landon Of Donovan

Id love to see landy back at goodison but time is ticking if were to be doing someting to sign him permanently.

I get the feeling if landy had joined any of the current top 5 and had the success he had during his time here that they would have been able to find a way to make the move permanent, not us though .

I kind of wish he'd stop acting like he was one of us. He isn't.

Unless he signs of course, but if that doesn't happen this summer for a decent price, then I don't want it to happen at all. He's 29 in a month, so now or never, for me.

With Beckham on his final year of his contract I have a great feeling he will be with us shortly. Once you get a taste of the Prem nothing else is remotely like it. Wow Coleman Donovan tandem would be so mouthwatering it would take us to the next level imo.

In all honestly I'm not really up for Donovan anymore, because it would mean that he would either dislodge Coleman or Billy and they are the two players in our squad that need long, sustained runs in a position.

The one time he played CF (about 70 minutes into Brum away, 2-2) he was gash too.

4/5 mil in the summer? Yeah go for it, anything over 10m for him would be pushing it, I think.

If Donovan comes then he's playing LW. Besides I'm kind of liking the Neville-Coleman partnership. Neville's defense is shutting down most attacks on the right side and its letting Coleman go forward more.

It's not his fault. It's Major League Soccer's. they hold their best players hostage basically. need to get their heads out of their arses and let him make a permanent move. landon's the trophy boy of the US, and they don't want to lose him. MLS is a horrible league. absolute trash.

Well no, no it isn't.

We've got a top drawer player who loves Everton. I don't see the problem to be honest.

Landon can play just about anywhere on the field so he wouldn't have a problem fitting in where Moyes would need him. Up front, right mid, left mid, just behind Saha....it's no problem for him.

It's 239 l.c.a.b not 259 and if people want to discuss Landon Donovan what difference does it make? Are you jealous that your thread didn't make this many pages? Especially when there was nothing concrete in it (There i said it)?

Also Billy the goat MLS terrible really? Such an ignorant statement. It not the best league but the US national team have done well and get better because of the year after year improvement sin that league.

Over exaggerate much?

It's not a top league, true enough..

Considering how young the MLS is, and the fact that we live in a country where soccer is around the 5th or 6th sport? I'd say it's doing really well..

And you definitely can't deny the contribution it has made to the sport and development of soccer/ players, in this country..

Think before you speak..
