Just to note, for whatever reason...some stats for Astro maybe.

The last transfer thread got 1057 replies and 47185 views. It died an early death from meltdowns though

That's a massive combined amount of refreshing for not a lot of goings on sadly =(

Cheers for doing the thread guys, just a pity all our major news during this window was of players going out rather than coming in.

Looking at Moyes on SSN yest im near convinced unless theres some sort of chage at the club this summer that the man will walk, and who could blame him?

I think the stress levels HERE woulda been multiplied by god knows what if we had to wait for info from the official s*ite... It probably woulda manifested itself into some ultra violence in some places

Just a shame we didnt have anything boss for yous to report, cause theres no better feeling than passing on good news...

Lets hope the next good news you report is that Kenwright and the rest of our "bored of directing" have decided to do one

I feel rather empty today - partially because no transfers materialised, but mainly because this has been so much fun. Really enjoyed the reading and posting. Thanks to all who contributed, not least the (our?) brothers

Let me ask you - if the current custodians of the club's major shareholding were to step aside, would any of these people you know about still be interested in buying?

The reason I ask, is that many people are reluctant to protest against the current board as there does not seem to be a viable alternative. The RS always knew deep down that regardless of how/when they protested there would be someone waiting to come in for them. We seem rather more cautious, aware that our global appeal still has room to grow, as it were.

If it was known that there were one or more parties READY to come in for the club, I'm certain it would generate far more of a groundswell of active opposition to the board than currently exists.

If they're not interested anymore - can we not know who they were?

A behemoth of a thread - nice one boys!

Imagine, for a moment, if you will, that Damon is right and we have new owners by June - a transfer thread, where the boys could report on ACTUAL transfers, for real money, with players coming IN and everything?

Imagine the viewing figures in that situation? I'm not sure Danny could afford a server strong enough to withstand that sort of traffic.
