I really don't rate Kranjkar at all.I think that we already have better than him at the club.We already have Osman,Bilyaletdinov,Anichebe and Arteta who could play in that position.

Even if those players are better than him, and I don't think any of them are in the position he'd most likely be played in, he'd still be a good signing just to replace Pienaar in terms of numbers. And he's one of them versatile players. Could plug gaps right across midfield if we have injuries.

Kranjkar is better that all of them imo on the wing.. Maybe Billy but he hardly gets played anyway

Wont happen anyway though

The same price as Darren Bent, more or less?

I'd rather have Suarez any day of the week. I'd say that's a decent price for him in today's climate, but time will tell if it's going to be a good buy or not. He could flop in this league as some seem to think he might. I do not; I think he'll do very well, but let's see.

Have to say I disagree with that mate (each to their own so no offence!). Krankjar can produce that somethin special that the likes of Osman and Anichebe don't really have in their locker. Bily and Tater do, but don't produce it consistently enough. With Pnut gone, I'd see K as a really good quality replacement who can produce something special every time he takes to the pitch. The gig is, though, Moyes may bring him in, but he may then spend the season picking splinters out his ar*e, like Bily and Vic.

tbh, although we've lost Pnut and Vaughny, and Yak has gone, hand on heart you'd have to say that the only real loss (in terms of consistency) is Pnut, and we couldn't stop that (at least not without paying up - and remember, we don't / can't do that, for whatever reason*). There's absolutely no point in grabbing ANYBODY as long as we can announce a new signing. We do have strength in depth, and some untried players in Gueye, Duffy, Mustafi, the Portugese fella, Baxter, Garbutt et al, and in past seasons (esp. 2009) when we've hit injury crises with seniors the young boys came in and did a job. I sense I'm in the majority on this site who would like Moyes to have blooded these guys more - that's his call and his style, and maybe even one of his flaws - but ultimately we trust the little ginger one, and respect his judgement, cos his track record for us is phenomenal. If we don't pull anyone in, there are young gladiators absolutely bursting at the seams to step up, and from the little cameos I've seen of them, I'm genuinely excited.

So, if Moyesey pulls a rabbit out of the hat on Monday - fantastic - we all get the feelgood factor; but if not, come on let's get real - it's not the end of the season, we're not suddenly relegation fodder, we've all seen the general quality of the play that each player has played their part in this season. With a bit of luck and composure Beckford could already be in double-figures - he's getting in the positions - this will come, Saha is a phenomenon, Vic is a maverick but scares the ar*e out of most defences. It just needs to click up front and in this league we can scoot up half a dozen places in 2 weeks (as the RS have just done with 2 wins against the mighty Wolves and the terrifying Fulham).

It's not that bad people. The Board is another story, but the team and the manager offer genuine hope.

Believe.

This is frustrating. Like a neutered dog we keep thrusting away, but nothings gonna happen. We are financially neutered in this transfer window.

Personally I think he'll fail. For all his quality, he's a cheatin, divin, actin mufka who will get found out here. The Prem has so moved on from Ronaldo and all his antics.

hope so, anyway :)

I would rather have Bent myself..
