I'd completely disagree with that. Pre-season, all fans where optimistic with that board in place.

Responsibility is 50/50 in my eyes. The managers job is to do the best with the resources available. He hasn't.

I completely disagree with your disagreeing , Mizzzlle , with respect , mate .

IRRESPECTIVE of what Moyles has done THIS season , he's been saving our Chairman's Arse for 5 years making Sows Ears into Silk Purses allowing Lovey #1 to BASK ....

Just plain WRONG , Brother Man .

And YOU KNOW I KNOW OF WHICH I SPEAK , with respect , again , kid .

Sorry mate I was referring to the Spanish waiter from Fawlty Towers ! Fernandes signed for Besiktas on Jan 1st !!

Yeah, sorry man, it was a bit tongue in cheek...

If only though eh? I would LOVE him back...

Ive had some lovely dreams about our 3 man Rodwell-Fellaini-Fernandes midfield embarrassing teams left right and centre...

Sadly, like Natalie Portman turning up in Bootle looking for me wearing just an Everton shirt, i fear it will remain a dream...

I cant believe were going into the 2nd half of the season with only 17 players who have more than 3 competetive starts for us...

Thats not even a matchday squad...

Truly awful

You're right there LCAB. Without Moyes we'd be nothing right now, as he's turned copper into gold.

But present tense, him and his team have been woeful this season.

Today I have been mostly thinking that it's 96.123456789% certain we won't sign a single first team ready player in this transfer window.

Listen ; THIS IS A TRANSFER THREAD , but Moyes Credit with me is ENORMOUS , CAUSE I REALLY KNOW THE FUKN SCORE !!!

I'm gonna leave it that .

Yet , I too have despaired this season , but CAN YOU NOT BLAME HIM FOR BECOMING DISILLUSIONED ???

A MORE Loyal Manager to his Chairman DOES NOT EXIST in the Premier League , btw ..

But , Right is Right , And WRONG is FUKN WRONG , btw !!!

This once great club is a fecking shambles.
It seems to be falling apart at the seems.
I would love to know whats going on behind the scenes, there does appear to be a fire sale going on at the moment. Alls not well financially but whats gone wrong all of a sudden?

To claim the Club where in a better situation under Johnson is damn right ridiculous. I wouldn't even justify that assertion with an response.

That depends on what yardstick you want to use. We won a trophy and reached 6th in the Johnson years (he was only there for six - what did Bill achieve in his first six years?). He underwrote a share issue, which was more than this elitist regime has ever done. He left us with a managebale £19M debt but the horrible feeling that he'd been robbing Peter to pay Paul in respect of his other businesses (never substantiated, but always a nagging doubt). I had a conversation with a Littlewoods insider who was working for the club after he left and the stories he recounted about him taking anything that wasn't nailed down prior to getting off doesn't bear repeating, so I know what a prick he was. But where are we now? Flogged every asset that isn't in a blue shirt, debt ridden, no plan for the future, and with absentee landlords sitting in London and Miami.

Kenwright will have to go some to make that legend status.

Mate , this is gonna be a Monologue as opposed to a Dialogue as ;

A ; I HATE THIS SUBJECT and ; B ; I've got Internet Sex soon , and haven't the time nor the inclination .

......

LCAB, just to say I appreciate what you post re the club. I know you don't like to talk too openly about this stuff, and I can appreciate why, but the stuff you do post is invaluble to those of us who do care but have no way of knowing what actually goes on. There is much ****e posted (particularly on TPF & Kipper) its hard to distill any reality from it.

Keep it up when you can sir (I'd have PM'ed this to you, but apparently I need to whitter aimlessly for another 38 posts first) !

I'm sick of people peddling out the Darren Bent deal.

Milner, Sidwell had to go out first...

Bent's got about 8million in add on's ... so it's only about 16million in cash.

And Villa's SELL TO BUY still gave them change to spare (to pay off debts)

The numbers of buyers rather than sell to buyers .... is skewed to the latter.

Milner was replaceable, and is average for Citeh. And Sidwell never got a game. So, 2 players for a proven goalscorer and a midfielder is good IMO and will improve them.

And we also sell to buy...its who we buy that's the question.

The way things are, we wont be able to cope with 3-4 players going and being able to replace them unless we sell another player for big bucks.

Thing is it's not all of a sudden is it. Look at the previous 6 transfer windows the warning signs have been there for a couple of seasons.
