I think what you’re trying to say is that there’s a sizeable difference between a player having a quiet/sensible drink and what he’s done.

Like you say, it’s the busiest period of the year and he’s out downing pints, showing up to the public knowing the media are there and being more than half-cut.

It’s not his first incident involving drink that has been evidenced on social media, so is he even attempting to be a consummate professional?
