Interesting. Could imagine we'd fetch quite the fee for Heitinga given he's a world cup finalist and German football would suit him down to the ground.

Needs to be done quick though, clock is ticking.

That has been our big problem in the past running out of time but probably just as sensible to wait until Jags is deffo fit to play- we just need that lucky break for this window to fall into place

I believe Moyes already has his targets, as soon as the dough is in he can start shopping.

That's what I mean, but negotiations can still be tricky - can't afford to leave it to, say, the 28th to sell Heitinga if that's what is happening, needs to be done in advance of the window shutting.

I can't imagine too many clubs and players are happy to sit about on the offchance we receive a bid from Bayern.

To be fair, with 18months left to run on his contract, Holloway is bang on in his stance. But unfortunately, it means we're being priced out of it at the same time.

Do we really need another central midfielder though? Personally I think he's a decent player, though I'd rather see any money we receive deployed elsewhere.

This has been our problem in previous windows hope we,ve learned like

If they come in with an offer in the last few hours of the window I will be fuming.

Charles NZogbia......pace, great shooting, young, plays left side.....9m should do the trick.

3m from Peinaar, Vaughan and Yak 2m, and Heitinga will be 7m at least........

Alright fellow bluenoses.

Ive been away for a few days, whats the latest are we signing anyone of note?

THREAD UPDATE:

Everton have signed Eric Dier. LCAB/THT reported this 2 days before it happened, well ahead of the media.

Heitinga may be subject to a bid in the near future, with the funds used to purchase new players.

Everything else is at the rumour stage, Moyes seems ready to dip in for players but is biding his time.

Btw fellas, I've been here for ages, I just only post when it seems like things are getting out of hand, which is what I felt was the case with this Dier kid.

I know you're all desperate for signings but truth of the matter is the kid is not worth raving about - yet.
The high likelihood is that he won't kick a ball for the first team but we will probably have a go at signing him if he lives up to his reputation.

If we're linked with anyone for more than say, the £3m we got for Pienaar, at this moment in time you can forget about us signing them as we just haven't got the money to afford them, the signing on fee and their wages.

ie. Bousaffa - I'd love the guy he looks the business in these videos but its the infamous youtube curse - remember van der Meyde's.

All of yers, take a breath, chill out, let Moyes do what he needs to do, even if it takes until the last day he will (I hope) sort out a couple of loans and we will have enough to see us to the end of the season and finish in the top half of the table.

£12-£15mil for Heitinga? **** me i'd snap their arm off. Bayerns defensive trouble's, coupled with the fact that his CV is quality and he isn't cup tied, means we might actually get something in that region.

The first lad i'd like to see walk through the door if we do sell Heitinga (which face it, is the only way we're going to get any funds for a few good players) is Matty Jarvis.
He'd cost probably £5-£6mil, then we'd have around £7mil left (including Pienaar sales). Enough for a half decent striker there me thinks, could bid for Johan Elmander, get him for a cut price as he's free in the summer.
