Tubey, its a loan so we can have a good look at him. The lad wants a permanent as long as its the right club. He's rated very highly so they are reluctant to let him go. What better way to have a good look at him everyday in training and integrate him into the squad thus making him feel like this is somewhere he wants to play his football. If this becomes the case he can then force a move to us. Would anyone seriously be happy if me or LCAB posted that we had spent £3-4 mill on a 17 y/o ??? Exactly, this is the sensible way to do things. It all helps as we don't pay stupid arse wages like other clubs!! Imagine if we paid that kind of money and he turned out to be like Scott Spencer !!!

Peeps just CHILL OUT .......

what happens if he's ace and some other club decides to buy him out from under us?

Cheers for the info mate.

I seek no confirmation from LCAB / THT - they tell me what I need to know when they feel I need to know.

Just something to divert the looming popcorning moment that this Dier titter is certainly to bring. From ESPN:

12.28: Anderlecht star, and Golden Shoe winner, Mbark Boussoufa says he would welcome the chance to replace Steven Pienaar at Everton. "Listen, I am very happy here but you never know what will happen in football," he said. "Once all parties are happy, you can move on. Everton? They are a very good club and to play in England would be fantastic."

See what I did here - utterly tosh comment by some Belg twit that can only be construed as his public demand for a move to Everton. Debate amongst yourselves.

Not a prob mate....

Ps.... Well done Journo's for reporting Dier today !! Do keep up !!

Here's one for you for tomorrows papers... Stevie G la has told Kenny he wants to join his boyhood idols EVERTON !! Cue Orange bar on SSN !!!!!!

Haha. That would be some sight to see on SSN, or in the papers in a few days.

Would love him here, would really suit us in my opinion. Another from Ajax youth.

Alas, won't happen with no money.

My hunch is that he wants to come back to England. Sporting rate him highly and don't want to lose him, so this is a compromise for a few months. Most of the players we have come in on loan this time of year end up wanting to stay (let's forget about Manny for a moment!) - so let's hope he's no different and gets the Blue bug whilst he's here.
