No, I enjoyed Saturday. But would be surprised to see that level of performance last for a sustained period. Dont think its possible, and sooner or later the form would drop.

Our players are better than they have been playing, we have alot of confidence players probably too many who'll turn to $hit with the crowd on their backs, I don't care who the manager is, we could have the best manager in the world but if goodison is not cooperating the players will be gash, as far as I can see Ferguson nullifies that aspect, our players need confidence and they need the fans all the experience as a manager doesn't guarantee that.
...off 90 minutes of football.

It wouldn't matter if Dixie Dean were managing mate. The atmospherte wont be that way on a regular basis. And that was what got us through against Chelaea.

The players Dave, they were the 1s that bought into Duncan.

Sure the fans played their part, but the reason we won was cos the players were all willing to give everything.

Can he get that effort every week? Lets find out.

...a mate they can keep their places with in the short term.

That's the reason he cant be trusted as manager...as well as the fact he's a clueless, chest thumping fist pumping galoot.

We wont know what he can offer till we try.

Have you maybe considered keeping an open mind and seeing how the next few games unfold?

Unless you really want us to bring in wee Davey?

I would say the atmosphere will definitely help the players but only so much, they still have to put the effort in and the work rate etc, best atmosphere I’ve been at we didn’t win the game eventually lost on pens so can be seen in different ways.

Edit, we did win the game in the 90 mins but lost on pens, it was the Fiorentina game at home.

I want neither of them. I want a decent manager.
I assume by decent manager you mean someone who's managed at top clubs and won top competitions? Not too many of them with experience in a relegation battle that you say we are involved in, and even less if them willing to join a club in a relegation battle.

Doesn't have to be elite manager. Someone with good ideas and a commitment to playing the game aggressively and with guile.

I‘d like to see how he does til at least the end of January. It was obvious for anyone that the players worked harder against Chelsea than they did all season long. He seems well respected by them too. What’s to be lost? The season went down the drain already. We‘re not gonna qualify for Europe, unless we put together a highly unlikely Cup run. But against Leicester and the RS we‘re probably gonna get knocked out anyway, no matter who is on the sidelines. It’s really important to get the next manager appointment right for a change. Why rush the decision?
