Is there a manager stance officially on the forum in which you don’t necessarily want the manager sacked but you just don’t care because who are we gonna being in otherwise?

Didn’t even realise we were playing. That’s what Everton has done to me. Was I surprised at the result? No. Will I bother caring next game? Nope. Everton are dead to me now after 33 years of following them. I’m out.

I have lost interest in watching them as well. Still don’t want them to lose, but not altogether arsed. They are an unlikeable team...spineless mercenaries

This was posted on bbc.... tragic that it’s actually turned in to a decent shout (I think so). That’s how shockingly bad we are....

‘This comment will be unpopular with Everton fans but they had the perfect placeholder in Big Sam. Everton should have kept him on and used the time wisely to overhaul and modernise the club and its structures. Big Sam would've kept Everton solidly in top 8 with few embarrassing results and Everton could give themselves time to recruit a new and upcoming young manager. A chance missed I think’

Yes they are. It seems like a prerequisite for the modern Everton. We are probably stuck with Silva this season, trust we are not relegated and try to get a coach who is an improvement. Going by the last few years I'm not hopeful.

...your point is ok if we deserved to beat Norwich today but they could really have scored more in the 2nd half and their keeper wasn’t overly busy. They got 3 points because they were better.
I know but it’s still a weird situation. We’ve been crap all season but two wins at home to relegation fodder and we’d be 5th. Freaky.

Im not going to argue that comment either.

There is no doubt in my mind he would have done a better job than Silva. But a sizeable number of fans thought we were too good for him.

Turns out we really aren't.

That's not to say the bar we are striving to set should be the level Allardyce can manage, but as the article says he would have given us stability whilst we sounded out a decent manager.

Whatever the hell was seen in Silva as the man to take us boldly forward completely escapes me, as his credentials stack up worse than the manager he was brought in to replace.
