Not much good to the supporters though is it .

Time will tell of course, but as far as the long term future of the club, its very good news.

Next season they will be a Championship club earning Premier League money, should give them a nice platform to get promoted again.

Lets be honest, nobody decent is ever gonna wanna move to Norwich anyway.

And yet again, an International break, honestly what is the point in International football? /throws patio chair

Next up at Castle Goodison is the birds from Norwich, a Championship side in waiting and much-needed fodder for Marcos Marvels.

If you havent marked this 1 down as an away win you havent been paying attention, I KID, I KID!

Yet again we hope and pray all our players make it home safely and injury-free.

Goats 11 to start :

T-rex
Sid - Yez - Mas - Luca
Fabs - TomTom
Walcott - Wobs - Rico
Kean

I'd be happy with that 11. Norwich can't defend for crap and we're home so expect them to sit deep but if there was ever a game for Kean to get going, it'll be last game ffs Silva this one.

They made no effort to even attempt to stay in the premier league this season though. Not spending money is admitting to failure. Stay up for one season and could turn out like Bournemouth and become an established premier league team.

Maybe they asked Fulham how they felt after spending 100m+ to get relegated.

But I see your point.

Such a shame that that second midfield slot is a toss-up between Delph (crap) and Schneiderlin (even crapper). Can't believe how unlucky we get with injuries. Spend 60m on two midfielders in the summer, one is out for 6 months after playing just two games, then other out for the entire season after just 11 games. Absolutely unreal.

Looks like they're doing what Burnley did. Go down after not spending much, take the parachute payments and rebuild and try to come back up in a better position
