Silva body language has got to the players. No emotion from the Manager just the same every week. No Leaders on the pitch or off the Pitch. Get Arteta and Neville in asap and bring Tim Cahill in to backroom as well. We need there passion badly.

Cahill's ego is way to big to just be involved.

Absolute and utter NONSENSE
Defo two years. Can not just get rid of Silva. Has to get rid of Brands at same time. Mosh invested to much and promised that these two would be going to the new stadium. This is a man of his word. We are stuck with the pair of them.

Definitely more scrutiny needs to go Moshiri's way

Silva was his guy and he dragged us into all sorts of bother with Watford and the footballing authorities to get him

Every single one of his managerial appointments have been disasters. I honestly wouldn't mind if he sodded off now to be honest. He's failed in every area but the stadium

Sick of him, he's a clueless melt
Plus allowing us to sign Sandro, Klassen, Rooney, Sigs in 1 summer, yet failed to replace Lukaku. Honestly since he's come in we've been awful for the most part. Losing 5-1 at home and 3-0 away to an mid table Italian side. Getting beaten by Villa, Bournmouth, Sheffield United and today. Losing 3-2 to an appalling Newcastle side when 2-0 up. At least under Martinez you could see what he was trying to do, even in his last season we got to 2 semi finals and it was semi exciting to watch us. Under Martinez we were able to get results away from home against most sides, even if it was just a draw. The ease in which we fold in games is the worrying part. I don't know whats happened to us as a club, because we've gone completely backwards since Bobby's firsts season. Under Moyes at least towards the end, you'd get the odd embarrassing defeat, but they come back the next week fired up, that just doesn't happen anymore. The failure to bring in a decent striker and a good winger has cost us, because we just didn't look like scoring once they got a goal ahead.

...I really don’t think you can blame Moshiri for player signings. You can blame him for managerial appointments but beyond that, i’d actually applaud him for keeping his distance and backing the manager/DoF. He’s probably no detailed understanding of footballers, his job is to appoint people who do and let them get on with it.

You wanna bet on that ?
Cos you would lose bigtime.

Nah, load of codswallop that. Everton were after Silva long before they appointed Brands. Brands went along with something that was already in the works and would have no problems getting rid of Silva if he and the hierarchy deem it necessary. They are not a double act and dependant on each other. One is the boss of the first team and the other is the boss of everything to do with the clubs football including the first team manager.

Silva will be gone long before Brands unless Brands ever resigns.

But there won’t be a new stadium so he won’t be lying to them
