Respect is due

I thought I could come back and enjoy this forum after a long layoff. Looks like I need to extend my "holiday". So turn off by some of the stuff written here recently.

I have noticed lately that a few of the Moyes Out/Moyes In posts are attracting some hostile and rather personal exchanges at times. It's a divide that we and the team could do without. Just because we have differing views on how the club should be run or who the manager should or shouldn't be, does not detract from the fact that we all love Everton Football Club. We loved it long before Kenwright and Moyes were around and we'll love it long after they've gone to pastures new. So please can we just accept that we are all entitled to our own opinion and debate the issues with a healthy respect for each other rather than treating opposing views with hostility, we are better than that.
I've only been posting on here recently and this is my first thread. For the record I am a recent convert to the belief that Moyes' time has run its course but I certainly wont be questioning where all the Moyes lovers are the next time we stumble.
NSNO applies to the supporters as well as the team so come on everyone lets start respecting each other.

A convert from ' moyes time has run ' - i think he gets the credit he deserves, but the very fact you've noticed the divide shows that the tide is turning against him, and that things have to change. I'm a fan of Moyes and Kenwright, but as you say the NSNO applies, and we're not currently.

We've just played a billionaires toy off the park, now SODS law is we roll over against the next lot, and THAT my dude, is what is dividing us.

Great thread, sadly a day too late for me - and I'm guessing it's generally because of me and this thread that this one was posted.

I completely agree that the attitude on here is horrifying at times. Simply because someone has a contrary opinion apparently gives people a free role to become internet warriors and spout abuse.

I still maintain those in that thread should be ashamed of themselves and should have had the bottle to apologise. They won't though.

What, you claiming moral highground for returning to patronise people by saying "I told you so"?

Really mate, you'd could do with having a look at yourself first. This place has existed for a long time and done very well, perhaps it's you that is trolling.

Check the other thread :)

And I know this place has existed for a long time. More than you know. :D
