When you consider there's a load of no mark hangers on who are, yes.

I see someone like Steve Pienaar who actually binned us off and went to Spurs pop up weekly in some foreign country as an ambassador and i think of some of the real great servants we had who are no where near the club, its very sad.

I suspect there is a story there with Waggy why he hasn't a role here.

Osman too. An absolute nuisance to squad morale. Jeffers - speechless.

Isnt it a pity he doesnt have a role at the club.
Again, nothing against the person or the player McCarthy. Wish him all the best for the rest of his career, wherever he goes, as he's a good an honest pro. In that he's an example to many other professional players.

But at the same time, it's clear for me to see why he has no future at this club. Think it has been proven in his time here, that his body (sadly) can't handle the intensity and physicality in the Premiership.

So, surprised to see that another Premier League team willing to take a chance with him. But then again, I guess £10m is peanuts in todays Premiership. For us it's a no brainer to sell him before he walks on a free next year and also save a year long wages for a player that spends more time in the treatment room than on the playing field.

Never the less, good luck James. Hope you prove me wrong and stay completely free of injuries for the rest of your career, but I just can't see that happening.

He always seems to pop up in the media too when anything about Everton is talked about, hes brutal at it, Super Tim Cahill thankfully seemed to bump him last season, hes great at it too. Holding his own with Souness who i actually have a bit time for as a pundit, if nothing else.

I share the sentiments a chara, hes part of the team and arguably the best player in that year, who gave us our record points total in the PL era. We quickly forget.

Im not surprised by interest as hes a really good footballer, but like you i have come to the conclusion that both Jamesy and Everton need to move on in different directions for both their benefits. Its one of those really.

Yeah, it's sad and frustrating and unbelievable irony at the same time. We'll most likely be looking for a Gueye replacement very soon, for I guess a lot of money, while we already have maybe the most direct replacement for him already in our squad. If he just could stay fit.

Its true, im surprised Silva didnt use him more because hes the type of pressing midfielder he usually likes. A fit Jamsey is more then good enough for us.

What i would say we are in a space with him at the mo were all roads lead to a parting of the ways, its a tricky recovery from a leg break, Seamus only got back to something like his best at the end of last season. If Jamsey is the same, it might take him a while, we arent in a position to offer him that time and space playing wise, his contract is running down and i think the lad himself wants a fresh start, i dont blame him really, i honestly think we coudl have looked after him better, by we i say Everton and Ireland.

Its all very unfortunate really.

I doubt there's much of a story

He's been a coach at Newcastle for years
