I bet her 'lounge' is horribly spacious.

Its not even a rumour. Want to start a thread about a random footballer, try World Football.

Very cutting way to talk to a person in my state of mind right now. I'm very delicate.

I wonder if Brand's fails this window would Silva walk?

Strikes me as a bit of a sulk like Rafael and apparently had problems with Watford's board over signings before he moved to us.

Saying that this is the biggest job he's getting at present so possibly not.

.....incredible, it’s not like there’s a queue waiting to hire him. I get the impression Brands is in charge and Silva will be very much buying into the strategy. He’ll be more concerned about getting the sack.

Zaha wouldn’t come to us and we can’t afford him. If they dropped the price to something we were willing to pay then Utd, Spurs Etc would pay it.

I like Bernard and think him and Digne could build a good partnership but Zaha would outscore Digne, Walcott, Lookman and DCL put together.

No doubt we will end up with a Football Manager superstar though who’s never played a PL game in his life.

What a load of rubbish. Zaha is so overrated. He only scored 4 more than DCL last year and Zaha is apparently a proven premier league player whose whole team is geared about getting him on the ball at every opportunity.

If we go with what weve got now (which we wont) theres absolutely zero chance of Silva walking away..

I don't think he would walk, but they have all agreed on signings months in advance, the holdup could be financially related.

Now STCC isn't valid, there should be no reason for us to be hampered finance wise, unless there is a self imposed austerity from the top.

This would be a cleaver solution if we was making the wage bill better, and making the squad younger, but it doesn't appear that is the case.
Instead, we are selling younger wingers like Vlasic and Lookman and keeping Walcott.
Alongside adding old men like Lossl and Delph.
My verdict is it seems like a scatter gun approach from Brands!

Silva knows this is his last shot at the PL,if he fails here he wont work in England again.
Failure is relative of course
Silva knows from last year that Brands can deliver and so will trust him to keep Silva in a job

So you know more about team building and transfer strategy than Brands
Give your head a wobble lad.

I'd argue Silva managed the end of the season like he was under pressure. He can't walk after how Watford went. He has to do well here or it'll be Portugal and other small leagues for the rest of his career.

I don't actually. But neither do you, actually nobody on this forum know's more than even John Coleman, Accrington Stanley's manager.
Let's shut the forum down because Brisan123 wants to stifle debate about signings or football because we're all too stupid. Great idea!
