Wasn’t lukaku a loan to begin with that then went on to cost £28M, same with Geri? Can’t remember his fee but had a 2 year buy back... Barry was excellent but McCarthy has been very injury prone and I’m a supporter of his. I think its fair to say Brands is doing a very good job so far

Yes was definitely a good piece of business without doubt. Same could be said for persuading Bernard to sign on a free.

Can look at it a few ways really, he signed for 28M, had a good goal return, we sold him for a huge profit. The only thing I never liked about him was the constant paper talk when he was away on international duty, still the same now.
