As much as I'm fully supporting them and have done so all season, they're really doing their utmost to ruin football. Another £50-60m spunked on a what will be a squad player. They'll have Sterling, Sane, B Silva, D Silva, Mahrez, Fernandes - even Foden. That's 7 players competing for 3 positions. Incredible depth but there's absolutely no way they're not going to dominate this league for years and years to come.

But you have to question the mindset of the players in question, they must know who there up against to get in the team. Also in some cases risking their international careers and reputations.

Mate?

Thats 7 players competing for 5 positions.

I have no inside knowledge, but we are absolutely not looking at Depay. His big time attitude wouldn't be something Brands would approve of.

Brands going to Lyon v Lille yesterday is no surprise really. Both teams have a number of players we’d be interested in.

Pepe would be the dream but he’ll be playing for a top side next season.

The attacking positions? If we're talking 5 positions then throw in Gundogan, Fernandinho, De Bruyne, Jesus, Aguero. That's 12 competing for 5 positions or so. Sweet depth but utterly mad that their second 11 would probably also win or come close to winning the league. Not complaining this year obviously, more than happy for them to sweep the board this year. And for the next few tbh.

The Swans winger, Daniel James, looks very promising and lighting fast. City are also interested apparently but someone like that plus a work permit for Onyekuru could make for some good attacking depth without having to break the bank.

Jonjo Shelvey? Stop it.
