If we get in Europe this season we are limping in with a squad far from ready for it.
We start from the early rounds and we already know from experience how damaging that can be.
Brands needs a relaxing summer, they all do, and it's a big worry we might be reluctant to shift more dead wood wages knowing we need numbers for the extra games.

Give Silva another season to build a strong side, and get them all playing well together and get into Europe with a side that is looking stronger.
For me I'm sure Silva will get next season now, let's make it easier for him.

I don't think that Brands and Silva would keep deadwood, whom they do NOT want to keep, just because they need a bigger squad. I think they'll follow through on their words that young players need to be promoted, and even if we got European football for 4-6 matches, it would be seen as experience and a building process. Supposing we got into Europe through 7th place, and supposing next year we got some progress in EL, maybe SF of a cup and QF of another, and maybe finished 7th again, but 10 pts behind 6th place. that would be progress. How would you not want that kind of season?

In the history of this forum nobody has ever been banned for having a viewpoint that others disagree with.

I mean @GrandOldTeam himself has openly said he thinks Silva is a bit of a clown.

I don't think the so called happy clappers ever really insulted anyone. In fact calling them happy clappers might be deemed insulting by some.
