My reason for not wanting him in are not those though. It’s because I didn’t want him in the first place and he proved my fears almost to a tee so far.

I obviously hope he stays and we win the lot next season though.

if the results pick up and we start playing actual football, then I wont be calling for his head.

its a big ask mind you.

we are all feeling chipper cos we beat Cardiff...

weve got a massive 5-6 weeks coming up, where we could quite easily lose every single game..

lets hope last night is a corner turner for us... but some thought that after hudd

But if we win on Sunday (big if I know, but it was the premise of the post) surely he's proved your fears to be unfounded? Yes there will have been times where it might have looked like you were right, but being realistic there's absolutely no way this could be classed as a bad season in those circumstances. Virtually everybody on here would have claimed they would have been happy with a season like that if they'd been asked in June/July last year.

We'll finish top half. He's a manager clearing up a mess created by a manager that most of those against him were all in favour of. He is set for season two. Like it or lump it.

You know I'm right.

So we finish 9th/10th you will be content some of us are not so easily satisfied. Yes there was a mess to clean up but Silva has not exactly helped with his team selections, Tactics, strategy and not to mention the poor defence when it comes to free kicks.

For me ATM cannot see a clear way forward.

If we win on Sunday he can have me any way he wants me.
