Cardiff's very simple game plan -

1). Be more hungrier and passionate than Everton
2). Try and win free kicks in the final 3rd, that is where goals will come from
3). Lob as many balls into the box as humanly possible
4). Rinse and repeat

So yep, pretty much the same game plan that all teams have used against us this season and has paid dividends.

Big night for Everton and big night for Silva. We have got to put a performance in and we have got to have fixed our woeful defending from set pieces.

Back four seems sensible. Can't see Bernard and Lookman starting as they lack the attacking threat of walcott :))) and richarlison. Its usually one creative winger and one goalscoring threat. Mccarthy - that would be a huge gamble for a 'cup final'.....
Agreed it’s unlikely that Bernard and Lookman start together but definitely think one or the other Weill get ther start here. McCarthy I chose just because I couldn’t gain the heart to put Schniederlin down there

yes its a very simple game plan v Everton… and Cardiff are a very simple, what you see is what you get team..

they are the millwall of the premier league

that ended well

this is cardiffs cup final tonight..

win tonight and it gives them a real chance of survival and drags us in to it with them

Warnock will be fully aware that we do not travel well

Warnock will know that silva is under huge pressure TO WIN .. meaning we will be very open

Warnock will know we got bullied at Millwall and conceded 3 horrendous goals

Warnock will know we have no spine in this team , not one single rock solid player

Warnock will know that Pickford is under real pressure to perform and that he can not dominate his box

Warnock will know , any corner, throw in or free kick anywhere in our last 3rd could result in a real chance of a goal

Warnock will know Everton is not the club it used to be, and by going one goal up will mean an easy nights work.

what will Silva know about Cradiff??

In 35 years supporting everton, I've honestly never felt such apathy towards the club and team. I'm getting fed up with the premier league in general, actually, but the total mismanagement of the club, total ineptitude of the manager, the arrogance of some players (eg pickford), and on field petulance of others (eg Richarlison), is beyond frustrating. Add to that the loss of identity and no/toxic atmosphere at the ground. It's a total turn-off.

And that's sad

i can add another ten years of support to that and i feel exactly the same.

Maybe im getting old , but how i long for the halcien days of Match of the Day at 10.30 on BBC 1 and The Big Match on Itv on a Sunday at 2.30.

Goin the match on Saturday with the lads, gettin the half time scores, not knowing the full times til you got the pink outside the ground.

1 live game a season ( F,A Cup Final day, start at 9am the build up, ,Its a knockout with opposing fans taking part, outside the hotel interviews and reports, on the coach with the teams.

How i used to imagine a dedicated Channel just for footy, showing games live 24/7 from all over the world, imagine watching Brazilians , Argie's, German's, Italians play the beautiful game week in week out, day in day out, heaven i thought.

Fast forward and what do we have, Brazilians , Argie's, Germans and Italians earning obscene amounts of money for diving, growling, scowling and under performing in a toxic, player power, money orientated league where the fans are treated like second class citizens.

We have now joined that group of teams where we splurge money on 2nd rate players in the hope of achieving a 7th place finish in the league.

Forget the Cups, im sorry but our " leaders" aren't interested, no money in cup runs anymore.

4th is now the holy grail of so many clubs.

4th for god sake.

Some of our fans, would be chuffed to bits to finish 7th !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( I would take 7th now by the way)

Rant over, sneaky 2-1 for us tonight COYB
