He kept it up way too long though. Someone was clearly feeding him dud information but he was too quick to take it as Gospel.

Yep. Thats the lot of ITK's, as we know. I remember when I has a source during the Yarmolenko saga that some danced on my grave cos the source got a day wrong re the CL draw iirc. Hey ho.

Anyrate, Uncle Unsy. He is here. Just so far, his wallet aint, just the loose change from behind the sofa.

Depends who your listening too really...
The Usmanov calls are a mantra - from people wishing to believe in better times ahead. They're made because three years have passed by under Moshiri and the only credibility this bozo still retains is that he's connected to Usmanov in some way.

He's failed in every measurable sense:

the club have not moved forward commercially in any significant way
the club are two years into a stadium scheme, but are miles off even submitting an application for planning permission
the team are well short of competing even for a EL place after the biggest spending spree in the club's history

By any reasonable standard THAT is what utter failure looks like.

Everton has posted a second consecutive year of record revenues totalling £189m - a 10 per cent increase on the previous year.

"the club have not moved forward commercially in any significant way"

Commercial revenue from sponsorship, advertising and merchandising grew by 34 per cent from 2017, reaching a record £20.7m, with the Club’s first African main partner, SportPesa, and the innovative engagement with sleeve partner Rovio and its iconic game, Angry Birds, augmented by a growing portfolio of Official Club Partners.

Combined with gate receipts, sponsorship and other commercial income increased by 45 per cent from 2017.

What a qweglet.

I think he means it’s because we don’t have an Adidas or Nike kit and they haven’t paid for us to get messi or ronaldo.

Fair point if that’s what he’s saying

lol

The two years preceding his arrival the club had grown that source of revenue by 25%. The point is that it's easy to make % increases of that magnitude in a short period because the base numbers the extra cash builds upon are so low in the first place. Just the general rate of increase in sponsorship for the industry alone ensures these rises...rises all club's enjoy (its a tide that raises all boats).

As said: no significant movement in commercial revenue.

Oh, and your failure to mention the other two issues is noted.
