Why people pontificate on whether the players should have a holiday or not is completely irrelevant to anything. We have surely had the easiest season in the prem fixtures wise.

The simple facts are we have a dreadfully inept manager who excels in zero departments.

Couple that with plenty of Championship class players in the team on a regular basis. A bunch of kids way out of there depth and a bizarre spanish fella (I would pick him in an indoor 5 a side comp) who is not an athlete who everyone thinks is good in midfield and a weak heart/assholle in every single player in the squad bar Jags/Coleman/Gueye.
Who is this bizarre Spanish fella in Midfield? If you're referring to Gomes, he's Portuguese FFS. Some of our fans are beyond thick.

What’s one of these mate???

None. The only reason people wanted City to win is that it is a nothing result to us given we aren't really playing for anything and were almost nailed on to lose anyway. If it meant relegation for us for the lovable neighbours to not lift the title, then there would be no deal.
It was a rhetorical question really. What I meant was, be careful what you wish for.

Because there’s always happy clappers and believing style is more important than results. When the team wins possession and has 2 more shots on target per match than BFS in average, against the top 6, some supporters might be pleased, and think the team is going in the right direction.

Well any style has been absent, these past 2 months!A poor run of results would be acceptable, if there was a sign of some green shoots of recovery.Like we have been unlucky, we can see a clear sign of an effective game plan and style of play developing. We can see signs, that in time we will have a very strong side. But there has been none of this. It's been a farce and fiasco. There's no sign of anything positive developing.

As we have seen with Mike Walker Roberto Martinez and Ronald Koeman, when a managers reign, turns into a farce and shambles, then the situation is not recoverable. You know it's not good, when the players are spouting, the we all believe in Silva, he's the right man for the job bs.I honestly think Silva is in way over his head here. That the job is too big for him.I can't see Silvas reign lasting much longer tbh.Let's just hope that Moshiri will let the next manger, to be of Marcel Brands choosing.

If we go into the derby only 4-5 points off 18th and relegation, im interested to know the thoughts of the Silva In posters - would you still want him to keep his job?

To most, it seems a bit like brexit voters who voted remain. Like me. They dont actually Like the EU, but are a bit worried about the future without it.

I dont Like Silva, but am fed up with this hire and fire routine.

Either way the boss goes, a bit scared.

Would the idea of us potentially appointing a Klopp/Poch type under Brands and seeing who he would target not interest/intrigue you?

If it was upto Moshiri again I would agree with you however I think we have to let Brands pick the manager if we are to really push for any long term success.

My big fear is we are 9 points off the drop and based on current form I cant see where the next win is coming from.

Cardiff - 8 points behind us next 2 games:

Watford H
Everton H

Newcastle 9 points behind us next 3 games:

Wolves A
Huddersfield H
Burnley H

Southampton 9 points behind us next 2 games:

Arsenal A
Fulham H
Man Utd A

Its scary that come the derby if we lose to cardiff we could be 3-6 points off the relegation spots. Considering we then have Liverpool, Utd, Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal still to play - I honestly think we could go down if we dont get rid.

Its why I would have got rid now and used the break to bring in a new manager/interim and hope we get a result against Cardiff.

I do too. The point being made is that Moshiri wouldn’t even give that type of manager a look.

True. Same with Lee Johnson at Bristol City. He has a tendency to go on runs, good and bad, but has beaten Jose, and taken Pep to a replay, losing by 1 goal away iirc. He is up against the latest new kid on the block with Wolves this weekend.

Been given time by a billionaire owner, young, English, nice bloke to boot.

But no chance.
