.....I honestly don’t know who our first team coach is. I know Ferguson is involved, but I don’t know the individuals Silva brought in. They must be accountable for this defensive ineptitude.

Rather than sack Silva at this point, perhaps get him to sack his coaches because the team plays like it isn’t coached.

There seems to be an endemic problem at the club where players simply seem to give up.

It happened with Martinez, it happened with Koeman and now it seems to be happening with Silva.

Different players, different managers, but the same thing happening over and over again.

I don’t know what the answer is, but this should be where Brands steps in and attempts to rectify this malaise.

Mate we can’t defend set plays , and how many times have we been done by balls over the top? Heaps we also have been cut through and Pickford 1 on 1 heaps . We can’t defend in any manner at all, and this is with two DM that’s coaching, tactics and system also tried 3 cb which doesn’t work either
Agree mate but the point I'm making is this isn't a new issue. Been like this since Martinez

Does anyone else's heart sink when we are warded a throw in? We just hurl it up the line in the vain hope that someone will win the aerial challenge and head it further up the line in the vain hope that someone will win the aerial challenge and head it further up the line in the vain hope...…………. We just hate having possession of the ball. I hate Klopp but you have to acknowledge that he recognised the need to keep the ball and appointed a coach to deal with your own sides throw ins. I realise that there's a lot more wrong with EFC at the moment but this is something that should be relatively easy to address. Of course Silva's too useless to even notice this.

Can you imagine being a defender too scared to tackle for fear of giving a free kick away 30 yards from goal but knowing there is a massive chance that your gonna concede a goal within the next 30 seconds.....because that's what Pickford and co must think about 20 times a game.

They muat high 5 themselves when they manage to defend a throw in properly

This is untrue. Not like like under Koeman and Fat Sam. You know keep conceding through setpieces.
No what I mean is there's always a host of similar issues with the team and I'm starting to wonder. Some players there have played under 4 different managers and styles and can't get any of them right. Fingers are too quickly pointed at the manager while the players get off Scott free on massive wedges. Mosh should start issuing performance related fines.

I've slept on it

I feel worse

Tie him to a rocket and send him into space please Mosh
Likewise.
The thing being that this seems to be the beginning of the end. Are we going to beat Huddersfield in a couple of days. I wouldn't put money on it.
With regards Wolves the toxic Goodison atmosphere will be their twelfth man and we'll get done for sure.
Bedwetting time possibly but our best hope at present is that 36 points will be enough to survive.

I think the problem is we can’t keep getting managers who are inept in setting up defence. Plus we basically must get a top proven manager next.
