I wont give you an argument about how poor it's been since the derby. But up until then we were ok and progressing steadily. Silva was avalanched by a mountain full of unshift-able low morale and lack of character amongst the first team squad post Liverpool game. That;s the Everton malaise right there and it would tax the greatest managers in the league to overcome it in 6 months.

Needs time and will get it, though perhaps not beyond the autumn if we go into a slump like now.
Again, you keep avoiding this, why do you think a good manager would be available in autumn? We wound up with BFS *because* the managers available didn't want the job.

Proven in what respect? Silverware? As a player (i.e command of dressing room)? As an Evertonian? Or simply in the Premier League?

Not that I think we could get Mourinho, but it shows that prior experience isn’t everything. Henry was one of the best players i’ve ever seen and his time at Monaco has been a disaster. Arteta wouldn’t be right for me (I don’t think an affinity with Everton is at all important - I actually think it would work against us) and there’s few managers with more PL experience than Big Sam.

It goes to show that whichever route you go down, there is no guarentee. For me, the single most important thing: Culture fit. Personality. Ambition. Does all that align with the club?

As nobody knows the lengths of the club’s genuine ambitions (which is a major frustration for us all), it’s impossible to even suggest possible replacements. Either way, I think most blues are rapidly reaching the conclusion that Marco was the wrong appointment.

As I said, a top coach.

I expect 6 points from the next two games, and I expect 20 points from the last 15 games looking at them.

50 points will get us top 10 comfortably.
I'm guessing any less will be

ADJECTIVE
  1. too bad to be justified or tolerated.
Just like how losing in the FA cup was supposedly by your standards but, you know, nothing should happen?

He's like a streaky player either looks really good or is utterly hopeless no in between with him. His results at Hull and Watford bare this out. Maybe Mosh should have actually interviewed a few candidates I can't believe Brands is happy with this state of affairs either.

Top 10 this season when we're currently 3 points off 7th?
We aren't winning any home games and we hardly get any points away

Today compounds our severe lack of confidence

We won't magically turn any corners from here, not with Silva in charge

Do you know what, the more i think about it, i'm not totally against it. Oh the depths i am sinking to with this absolute shower!

I hate you Everton for making me even entertain the idea of Moist back!

I even booed the hell out of him for his guard of honour.

Would pathetically clap him back into the dugout now.

Use Utd as an example, they have a very good squad and Jose (proven top manager) he couldn't get the team playing, the Ole comes in and they have won every game since. So it isn't always the players, I reckon if another manager came in (the right type of manager) this team would be very good. Sometimes it doesn't have to be a big name it just a good fit that's needed. For me Moyes coming back could be that fit. Sam came in last season and tbh inherited a poor team, mainly due to lack of pace, that's been rectified to a degree so a new manager would inherit a much better squad that Sam did.
