I'd leave him there until the end of the season and then push him out the side door. It's not the results, though that's obviously important, it's the performances. There is no shape, pattern, or coherent strategy. It's just 11 guys on the pitch wandering about.
Totally opposite my freind.
Football is a Results Business , always has been always will be.
If results are bad changes will be made.

things literally cant get ANY worse as it stands.

our season is over

we are out of both cups and in relegation form.

what else is left to do ?? limp home in 15th then sack him ??

I'd sooner have either Moyes or BFS over Silva at this point TBH but surely we can do better? There's a whole world of managers out there. Surely somebody at the club is capable of looking for a manager who knows what he's doing?
Not for the first time this season witnessing our defending from set pieces, I thought we wouldn’t have conceded those goals under allardyce. Not that I’m advocating that he shouldn’t have gone, but today is only confirming the underwhelming feeling I had, when we appointeed silva to replace him.

My picks assuming that the very best are off limits:

Giggs: Knows what it takes to win, and as a winger could possibly get the best out of Richy and Lookman.
Arteta: Still a blue, no matter how long he's been at City, can see the other side of his 2011 departure now. Connections with City only a good thing. Most realistic option.
Lopetegui: Out of work still, blew it at Madrid so won't be all big time like Koeman, using EFC as a stepping stone to the big time. Connections to La Liga could be useful, as long as we're not buying crocks from Barca for liberia's deficit.

Said it the other week after Southampton about Silva's body language, just standing there of late, arms folded, emotionless. This at todays game.

I would like a defensive minded coach , who knows how to attack with pace.

non of this gung ho football with zero knowledge on setting up a back 4 … it will never work in the premier league.

You DO realize the issue with that, no?

How did "let's give him X games in to NEXT season" work out for us and Koeman? We wound up with Fat Sam. He's shown that he isn't up for this. Boot in summer at latest and get someone in then.
Difference being that Silva is not the clueless tactician Koeman and Allardyce both are. He has a strategy agreed with the DoF and I FULLY expect that to play out beyond this season.

The quick kill scenario for those wanting Silva out is not remotely on the horizon. When all is said and done the owner merely wants a club that is top 10...and that's well in Silva's grasp even this season.
